Hello, has anyone removed or replaced one of the front axle shafts on the FLU. I broke the driver's side CV joint behind the portal box over the weekend. I'm trying to guage the work involved to replace it. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

One good thing about the 5 ton, its perfect loading height for the FLU.

Started on some spring projects grading with the FLU. It was a bit hard at first but got the hang of it after a while. It's a delicate balance between down pressure and tilt angle. It's definitely not a track dozer but still vary effective.

What is the correct way to check the fluid level in the portal box of the axle? What type of fluid would be used to top off?

I was debating to replace the stock lights or get the light bar but eventually settled on the light bar. It is definitely more light then I was expecting.

Added a light bar to help for those night jobs. Also, found a place for two fuel cans. I am still shopping for a spare tire, unfortunately it was missing when I purchased the SEE.

You are right. The plate light is a must, I guess my road excursions will have to be during the day for now. I guess the trip to the local pub on Friday night will have to wait.
