Guy on Youtube put a freigthliner hydrobooster on his M35a2, or at least I think.
So to the above, you can't use a single air pack with a dual port MC? Seems if a single port like ours works, why would a dual port MC need another air pack?
As a thought, that's a little different.
Why not just find a dual port master cylinder that can be put into the stock location of the current and set up the brake lines to the front and rear? Seems it would work.
SS - Has any installed the Boyce Steering Hydraulic assist kit for the M35a2? Was looking for feedback,pics and any videos of actually how much assist does it give. I also emailed Boyce, but no reply yet; but also want real world feedback. Thanks
Was able to pinpoint a short in the solenoid, back powering through the pump case onto the hydraulic lines and into the frame. Pretty interesting. At least I know from reply’s above no special requirement is needed for the deuce. Thanks all
So new news. My pump once the positive cable is connected, energizes the chassis. Oem says it’s the truck ground system somehow. Does the M35, require some sort of extra ground when adding accessories?
SS - New to site. Just installed a 24v dump bed kit on the M35a2.
During install had hydraulic pump straight to batteries for testing with truck cables disconnected. After testing connected truck cables and hydraulic cables. When placing negative on, the biggest spark and small melt of terminal...
