When the trucks are transported by semi, does he load them? I assume I do not need to be there? What all do I have to do besides send the lot numbers and check?
All of my deuces so far have been purchased from private party. I have now won two deuces and a 105 trailer about 500 miles away in Redstone. My question is, would pulling the rear shaft to the farthest tandem give me any benefit? They both have 1100s and one will be pulling a 105 trailer...
I would guess that at least it was towed into place for the PIC since the front cleaves where removed (indicating that they needed to hook up a tow bar). Maybe there isn't much damage from lack of oil.
So my truck is now reading add 2 which is quite a bit lower than the 'K' in check norm. The problem is that I had a leak and I don't want to dump it all out only to add 22qts back in. Would it be dangerous to simply fill it back to full now?
I think mine is a dual piston like in the one in the PIC above. After cleaning and running, its seems to get wet around the cylinder head, and the port on the left side first. Tried to snug the bolt up a bit but they all seem tight.
Is there a good source for new gaskets if these can be replaced?
Anyone know what the recommended oil level should be with the spin on anti-drain back oil filters?
I never checked after doing the mod and I was checking my level today and the dip stick read low. Then it dawned on me that there is some oil still in the two filters.
My air compressor seems to be leaking oil inside the engine compartment. I cannot tell where exactly it is coming from since it is putting a mist all over. Does anyone have an idea on where to check and replace gaskets?
