So I had a bad leak in the rear main seal and had it replaced. Now about 135 miles later, it looks like it is starting to leak again. The guy that changed it out is a diesel mechanic, and I am sure he knows what he is doing. My question is, should I just live with it unless it gets really bad...
How are you going to keep the paint job durable? This is a rattle can paint correct? There are no hardeners in that stuff and a shoe is enough to scratch it?
So does this mean there is no perminate fix? Should I just grease the zerk that is in it now and that will stop the leaking for now? Or take the seal out of the new adaptor, or replace the whole adaptor?

Well, I have both 11.00x20 Michelin and Firestone tires, both close to new (maybe newer on the firestone). Equal pressure, mounted, the Michelin diameter is 41.75". The Firestone measures 43". So that would raise the truck about 5/8" over the Michelins.
Okay. What I have is the newer handle, bottom braket, and cable from a newer deuce. I just wasn't sure if there was something to change at the brake itself.
