Offical 2009 Florida Rally Parts Swap Thread

I put Kenny's axle in the CBC yesterday, getting out will be the hard part. I will load the can thursday. Tents are loaded. Last call for tires, and I hope no one wants these heavy things. I will try to bring the M105 trailer side but the troop seat are not coming. Too much trouble to...

Anyone want to sell their bobbed deuce??

And I forgot to mention, I am make a "bob" to sell right now, but I am in SC and shipping would be a killer. I don't believe in shipping a M35 over two state lines. Just my personal policy:roll:

Anyone want to sell their bobbed deuce??

As a long time user of this site, and a known idiot, how do you get to the classieds? What I mean is, where on this page is a tab that will take you to the classifieds? The reason I ask is I don't know and Mr. Newbie might be wondering the same thing. Have I over looked a link or is the only way...

    I need west coast mirrors

I just put the take off mirrors in the classified. There has been a lot of butt chewing lately about posting for sale stuff here, and I reserve my butt for my wife:-D http://www.steelsoldiers.com/vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=567

    I need west coast mirrors

I am using the windshield hinge type mirrows for the bobber. I will take a picture of the parts truck I just picked up with them on it. That's what I have use on my other bobber I sold. I like them. I will post a picture of the west cost mirrow later today too. They are complete with all...

    I need west coast mirrors

As fate would have it, I just pulled a set off a truck I am bobbing. Looks brand new and I would like to sell them. Not sure what they are worth.

VIN Info-'You may fire when ready, Gridley.'

Greetings Carnac. I am trying to find out the year of this M35A2 for my SF-97 from GL. It was bought from Ft. Jackson about 3 weeks ago (Jan.). I am posting a few pictures of the data plate that will hopefully emilinate my usually typo's. The bumper number is different from the numbers on the...

    M887 goes away, comes back!

Well I spent an hour this morning "removing" a few of the fire department mods. The big pile of stuff behind the truck is what came out of the back. I'm really excited about the purchase, but so far the rest of gang is not. If it had wings I would call it "Eagle 5". I lke the little door...

Unloading a deuce, no animals where harmed.

Sadly, I was infomred this week that all my junk is in the way of the upcoming "hay" harvest and must be returned to the woods. It cost my brother one round bail last year  I figured I would unload this one in it's final resting place.

Unloading a deuce, no animals where harmed.

Don't try this at home, but I just happened to have a camera with me today as I did my gravity/tree assisted unloading. Watch the trees at the back of the truck as it stops. And yes, I know I need help.

Deuce electric wipers, what they worth?

If he calls me I'll send him your way. A lot of people talk and then never get back to you, if you know what I mean. Of course, he did give me his number:roll:

    M887 goes away, comes back!

I hate to hijack the thread, yet I continue, but here's a picture of "Starsky and Hutch" on the trailer. I'm so glad Kenny didn't bid on it:grin: I broke down and skipped the usual 6 month hiding period with my wife and took her to see it earlier. She was not impressed. I think it might be...

Deuce electric wipers, what they worth?

Well I smoked over the truck and all the air stuff has been removed and I don't feel like repiping all that. If I was going to keep this truck, I would want them. I don't think the windshields will fold all the way out with these. I will take a closer picture tomorrow for the curios folks out there.

Where to buy paint, Gillespie maybe?

The thing that kills me is the shipping. The whole haz mat thing. I guess I will order a case just to make it worth while. If I am understanding you guys, 34094 would be the green color that is on my CARC painted truck I just picked up. I think that would be a fine color for all this stuff.

Deuce electric wipers, what they worth?

I was talking with a dude while I was picking up something from GSA and we where talking about recent purchases. When he found out I bought a deuce with electric wipers he offered me $350.00 for the set up. I am very temped to let him have them. Are they really worth that? Joe Trapp

Where to buy paint, Gillespie maybe?

I need to start painting several vehciles, one being the M8?? I just bought and I was wondering how you guys get paint like Gillespie? I have bought it in the past but it was always at Aberdeen so shipping was not an issue. If I have to order it who is the best at having it on their shelf? And...

    M887 goes away, comes back!

The first thing I will do is have it power washed and a gallon of Gillespie sprayed over the whole thing. What was the fire department thinking?

    M887 goes away, comes back!

Greeting fellow Dodge owners. I have no idea what I have bought but I hope to pick it up tomorrow. It will be my official "rally" vehcile when I get it road worth. Now I will have a lot to talk to Kenny about next week:twisted:

    fiberglass bows and troop seats

I plan to have these at the rally next week for sale. Kenny, you can get a real close look at them there. Only one person has spoke for them at the rally so he will probably be the new owner.
