I have a M543A2 with the same problem, I don't think your cable is pulling the kill plunger out far enough to shut off the fuel flow. I had to pull mine out by hand and I was surprised how far the plunger had to travel before the fuel was interrupted.
Replaced the bad fuel return line on the wrecker(M543A2) and no more leaks, pulled the fuel shutoff handle, no movement at all! Had to climb on the fender and reach down an pull the shutoff at the IP, not a situation I like! Does anyone have a good fix for loosening the cable in the metal...
I have a M448 1.5 ton van trailer I am refurbishing and I need two or more of the leveling jacks. Hopefully they are not unique to this trailer since the production numbers are pretty small. A drawing of the jack is below.
In the process of replacing the return fuel return line on the rear most injector of the M543A2. The local air museum would like to have the wrecker on display for a few months so I cranked her up and what happens, line failure, diesel running down the side of the motor! The return fuel line...
The 37's give me about 8 extra MPH to what the speedo is showing but I still keep the speed down, I don't want any more problems than I have to have. Besides I am now retired "and have no where to go and all day to get there!"
From D.Doyle's book it is too long for a M172? The deck looks more like 20-30 feet than it does 16 feet! I have a friend checking to see if they will part with it. It would look great behind my M818!

Bought four Rancho RS5134 shocks, they fit fine on the back but are too long for the front of my M1008??? I have a 3.5 in lift on the truck and they should fit but they don't! Anyone else with this problem?
