What's up with this crappy attitude. I for one am tired you guys telling the rest of us to roll over and take it. NO other company in America could get away with this why should we let GL. They can do the job right they just don't care too. If no one protest their actions on this they will...
A couple of points.
First off, Clint, you nailed it good. Great insight.
Second, I have inquired and most of the dealers in my area don't charge for titles. If they charge you something it is to handle things like getting your tags, not the title. They are required by law to provide a...
I don't care what anybody's excuses are, the law requires a seller to provide a title to the buyer in less than 45 days. Why does GL not care about this. I want Robyn to answer why GL doesn't comply with state law here in SC. I know what I am talking about because I have read the law and had...
I don't know at your area, but I found the laws for SC on line and copy and pasted the key parts with their number to a word document and took that to the DMV with me recently. It did no good. They just said, "we don't do that". It's funny how the law can say one thing but the DMV can make...
Have you checked the status of your EUC? Has it been aproved? The last truck I bought, which GL has 4 days to get me a title before they break SC law (but that's another story), took a little while for the EUC to be processed but the moment that was done I received an email with my envoice...
I suspect from reading some of the post that many of these new guys have never driven anything larger than a pickup, much less a 40 year old army truck that doesn't have break lights until you cut them on. I have bought a dozen trucks surplus now and I have driven one off base and that was the...
I will try to post a few threads here that deal with some of the stuff that is being talked about here. We realy need a section for "Bobbed" trucks. They are hard to find with the search feature, at least for me. I love my truck. It's much easier to steer with out those rear axle pushing...
In theory stopping up someone's sewer line would be a violation of the health code but no one seems to be able to do anything to stop it from happening. Probably one of those deals where the health department doesn't want to get involved. After all, if the person will pay the money they owe...
RE: Re: RE: Wife said no more E-bay!!!
The big question for me would be if you did make a "cooker" out of one, what you do about the door hinges being made of rubber? That might get messy.
Re: RE: My tool trailer conversion for business use
The fitting I am selling is compatible with an Elder ® valve. They are installed in the service line and if people don’t pay their bill the sewer operator runs a plug down in the “T” and restricts the flow of sewage. It’s a dirty thing to...
Re: RE: Wife said no more E-bay!!!
I just took my modified tool trailer out to show some sewer guys a display I have put in it, and of course one of the comedians asked "how many hogs can you put in that thang?"
I was about to highjack Bill's thread but that didn't seem right. Over the past few months I have modified my tool trailer by putting a mobile home axle under it and a ball receiver on the tongue (that sounds so dirty). Painted it too, white and black. I am using it to demonstrate my new...
Well that sounds like a request for some photos and maybe a video. I rode past shim the other day in the BOB with my employee in the passengers seat and we got quite the glair. I told my man we just had to take the new M35 whister out and let him video the whole experiance. Got to catch him...
RE: sc event
Well unless I am flat broke next year I think I will organize a little get together. As for my feeling it would be at the end of this year before I would pick a date in March. No need to put too much planning into something like this with all the other stuff going on around the...
If I ever do another BOB bed I will cut down a stock bed just like I did mine but I will get the sides from a drop side bed to put on the sides so I can reuse all the deuce stuff. I narrowed my bed to match the front fender width so I cut about 6" off each side as well as 3.5 feet from the...
I am not sure how long my trailer is but if my POS Ford will do it, you shouldn't have any trouble. The truck pictured is a non winch. I couldn't move a winch truck with my trailer because the weight would be too far back.
I am in central SC if you are close enough to drive down and check it out. I made lots of pictures when I did it. Mine also dumps via a custom made bed and hoist (me being the custom maker) therefore I can raise the bed and the frame can be looked at very closely.

If any of you guys are going to SECO in a few weeks post it here. I haven't been in a year or two. Does he still have the two old half tracks or the 25 pounder guns from the Sextons? I haven't been back in a while because I am too broke to buy anything. And just to make some of you sick...
