Do you know if your fan clutch has a part number? I know the 8.3 have 2 different styles of fan clutch. I would like to see if the 250 uses the same model.
All are welcome, but there isnt much of anything going on at camp during the day. Every one heads out on the trails so its just tents and campers in the lot. This isnt what I would consider a typical event like the Redball Rally in PA or the NJ Sussex show or the Graves Mountain Rally. Its...
Sounds good! We will be needing that winch! We have one guy with a 5ton who loves to get stuck. I almost did not pull him out of jeep sinker last time.
Hey Everybody, its that time of year again, for the bi-annual Rausch Creek Rally!

To me, since its a gear pump, that means its a constant flow, open centered system. I am not an expert in hydraulics. I have basic understandings due to my use of the systems on trucks and equipment but I could not differentiate between the system types without some more knowledge. Hopefully...

I would deflate down to 25 psi with no load or light load. The 395s are stiff. I run my 923a2 with 53s at 25psi to 20psi weighing in at 26000 off road.
Ive seen U bolts break from excessive movement on an axle. Some trucks have U bolts with rather long threads sticking down and can catch...
9 out of 10 times the wedge sticks in the "out" position, keeping your pads spread and against the drum. Caging the brake chamber is only to release the parking spring brake, since that is on with the force of the spring in the chamber and air pressure from your truck pushes on the diaphragm &...
Sounds like the wedge was sticking. I would take the brake can off and clean then grease up the wedge assembly. Had the same issue with brakes sticking. Its a common issue with wedge brakes.
Just got a letter from Gulfway stating they are transitioning from Travelers to Hagerty. I spoke with someone from Gulfway and said Hagerty will get in touch with you for specifics of the new policy. I have to end of Oct for my current policy, so Ill give them a little time and see what...
I have a PH520 on my 923a2. This is the 10 ton version. I used their entire kit but ordered it with a 24v electric over hydraulic pump. I routinely had 7 yards loads of fill and crushed concrete in the bed and it would dump every time. 7 Yards seems to be the limit on a stock bed before it...
