Congrats on the purchase, I recently have been looking for a similar trailer.
Just wondering if 12' of deck is sufficient for hauling vehicles? Most stuff I own has at least 10' wheel base....
Otherwise the trailer looks perfect for a deuce.
Rick
Yes, nearly 100% off road.
I thought the M1061 rims and tires are highway oriented?? I'll go take another look and see about that and the M998, thanks.
Ha, your trailer weight alone is a half ton from the pintle limit of the deuce if fitted with a winch! Talk about conservative rating!
Rick
I have not yet encountered a flatbed trailer that utilizes deuce rims and 9:00x20 NDT tires.
Something tells me the 6,000 lb towing capacity of the deuce limits the trailer choices to the M105 cargo and genset trailers.
Have I missed something? If you have any ideas, shout them out.

Goodfella, as others have said, keeping the engines is your course of least action.
My contribution to the idea is to suggest you take your time and don't force the engines, especially if they are stuck. remove the plugs and squirt some penetrating oil or ATF into the cylinders and allow the...
I think that if you left the slave connected for some hours to a running truck with a charged bank of batteries that you may get the dead batteries up enough to crank. Emphasis on may.
Rick
Robo,
I cannot help you with exhaust parts, but I can advise you about shipping from the US.
DHL is the most expensive carrier. Hellmann Logistics may serve you better, however....
If you can find a dealer in the US that has your parts, have them obtain a USPS quote for shipping your goods...
Thanks to all you guys who are willing to attend car shows and let strangers crawl all over your trucks. You are doing the public a service and are planting seeds of OD in the minds of our youth. The future of our hobby is being paid forward by y'all, so thanks!!
Rick
Blizzard, looks awesome in the pics! It's amazing how well your truck fits the driveway!!!
Question: How is the finish and sheen on the latex paint? I ask because I am cheap but would hate to paint my truck and have it look obviously painted....
Rick
Are NDT's considered dual purpose? The strip in the middle makes me think it is designed for operation on the highway as well as having side lugs like a rice and cane tire.
Rick
I have no idea if it would work, but I can imagine one in an old 3/4T Suburban. With the long wheel base and long body, you should be able to fit the drive train to the chassis then fit the body over it.
Thinking about it, I think the MF is found where it should be: in tractors and old slow...
Ty I don't have your answer, but I suggest you may find it useful to press the pump apart and identify the bearing and seal pieces for future reference.
Rick
My suggestion is that if you want to take care of your truck as you indicate, then you should definitely install a pyro. Imagine how you would kick yourself if you didn't and the motor fails...
An additional thought: If you have multiple diesel trucks or if you are cheap like me, you can...
