My spare tire hanger nut is so buggered up I can't get it to move on the threaded rod to load my tire? Anyone know the part number? Or another source, too many snakes and ticks to be crawling around in a junk yard!
Multi-Use Cup Holder
Works for all kind of things, but really holds your drink! I think i am going to mount my first aid kit there so I may have to relocate!
Flat towing is pretty easy with a five ton, if you have another 5 ton to do the pulling? If all else fails I have six secure acres in Russellville to at least store it.

My 5 ton flatbed was given to some one else at ????? a year or two ago so they let me pick out a replacement, so it does happen, but it was a trailer not a Wrecker!
The springs on my M1008 have a reverse curve to them, the truck looks fine but there is a definite droop to the springs! This truck was someones pet at a near by NG base so some modifications may have been made for comfort? Add a leaf or a new spring pack, if I can find a couple?

Thanks,
James

I haven't pulled mine out to look at it yet, I may try the soldering if I can reach the spot, but as Warthog said if the price is right a spare would be a good investment.
My favorite duece has a radiator leak, started off as a hiss ended up as a steady stream. I have found a guy with four brass radiators in the crate. His only description of them is that they are huge! He is a few hours drive from me, I have asked him to see if he can find an NSN number on...
