820's at Fort Riley---- SO CHEAP

I know we can't mention sales prior to them being over but this time it would have probably saved a load of really nice truck from ending up on the scrap heap!!!! I need another 5 Ton!

820's at Fort Riley---- SO CHEAP

Did anyone win or have look at any of the dozen or so M820's that sold today a Fort Riley? Anyone know why they sold so cheap? They averaged about $1100-1200 each, they were a little rough but that's not even scrap price. I planned on driving up the to look but I found a M127 I needed so no...

    M172A1 wood deck restoration...?

It will be a week or so before I get back over there for photos, but they are definitely factory, I saw a similar trailer sell today at Hooks and you could see one of the D rings sticking up on the trailer bed. James

    M172A1 wood deck restoration...?

It is the one from Ebay, but he cut the price in half, and he is only an hour or so drive from my cabin! Worked our real well. He thinks the windshield rotted out from sitting flat on the wood deck for a few years? Easy fix anyway.

    M172A1 wood deck restoration...?

How does the UMO color the deck wood? I was thinking about adding some new oil to control darkening the wood too much? I put a deposit on the trailer below a M127A2C, it looks a little different form the ones down at Hooks Tx. It has a removable wind screen and has four very large D rings...

    M172A1 wood deck restoration...?

How does the deck look a couple of days after the diesel treatment, does the wood do any swelling? I am asking because I am about to acquire a M127A2c and it's deck is complete but very dry!

    POLL: Are YOU a VOTER ? ? ?

Voted this morning! Right next to a woman who brought in her "mother" and voted for her, right from a marked sample ballot she had in her hand, she didn't even look at the names?

    Redstone Arsenal loadout problem

I have loaded two M105s on my 16 foot car hauler several times, it easier with a fork lift but a come a long or small winch will load them in a couple of hours. I have had to do it since Hooks has stopped helping with load outs!

    M52 Inspection ?

Scrap Price The price is pretty firm since he had one guy come out and tell him it is worth $2000 in scrap! And he has that number in his head as a baseline he can fall back to if he gets no bids, two grand seems mighty high as a scrap number, but it also has like new over the road tires all...

    M52 Inspection ?

Had a look at the M52, turned out to be an A2 with a multi-fuel. It has been used on a farm for moving around his heavy equipment and modified a good bit, signal lights and rear lights pulled or cut off, pintal gone, seats gone, rear air tapped for a civi trailer. The good news it starts up...

    A Spare at Last

The Deuce feels complete now that I have my new spare mounted! For those who have not mounted the spare in its place, as you winch it up push it as far toward the frame as you can, it makes the final mounting a lot easier!!!

    Kiaser Jeep 813?

Great I have a guy who says he has one for sale but he keeps referring to it as being built by Kaiser in 1970, I was hoping he wasn't talking about a deuce, since he has a deuce price on it! He also says it has a drop side bed and it a multi-fuel engine? James

    M52 Inspection ?

I am going to look at a M52 on Monday, the new owner thinks it was built in '62-63, so I am hoping it has the Mack ENDT-673 in it. I know to look for the cross over pipe but is there anything else I should be checking for? I have an 818 so i am familiar with the type truck. The owner took...

    M817 Salvage Question

I have gotten the winch and dual pto off a scrapped dump truck, I know I need the winch linkage and I am familiar with it, but I also need the Power divider linkage, which I am not familiar with. I have been looking among the TM's, does anyone know which TM a diagram of the power divider is...

I bought a Burma Jeep, Ford GTB

I am not sure by your drivers seat may be the actual passenger seat for the truck, if so hold on to it, because it is the hardest part to find for the trucks by a long shot. Keep us updated on your progress. GTBA owner
