    Strange Popping Noise Under Load

If there is NO DRIVE SHAFT then how is the rear differential getting a load? It only happens under load and it IS happening WITHOUT the drive shaft in? How is the load being transferred to the rear? It is not so that eliminates that. I know what you are talking about with the dogs catching and...

    Strange Popping Noise Under Load

I have been following this from the beginning and he has been quite clear about what he has done and removing the rear drive shaft will eliminate any possibility of a load related noise coming from the rear. Unless someone can explain to me how the power is getting to the rear differential...

    Strange Popping Noise Under Load

Sure would be nice if people read the whole post before replying. The tire pressure thing was addressed by removing a rear axle in his first post as was running with the front completely disengaged, again, in the original post. Thermostat: what is normal operation

I agree, it is opening too early or too fast and letting too much cold water in all at once which is bad for the engine. A proper operation would be opening slowly as the temp reaches 195 and the hotter it gets above that point the faster and farther open the stat gets.

Doghead Helped Me Out Today! Says Hi to Gimpy Rob

Hey Doghead, How many back meds you takin' tonight?:roll::twisted: I have been to Dogheads in the dead of winter and loaded a pallet of ammo cans in a freezing rain. He offered up coffee and a dang good hoagie. Nobody will ever tell me he is a bad guy in person. Now on the...

    no start condition

This is true and I was not trying to come across as an a** but when people say "I can get this a lot cheaper that the right one" that is usually a red flag. If you want to go the push button route you can go with a constant duty solenoid and a button. Do not use a Ford starter relay, they were...

    no start condition

"The pink wire provides 12 volt contentiously?" That is actually a pretty good description of CUCV electrics.rofl Get the controller card and also get the right relay. If you start trying to cut corners then we will stop trying to help you because you will be creating problems beyond our...

    no start condition

Disconnect everything you hooked in and see if that solves the problem. If not there is a good chance you may have damaged the controller circuit board.

IronPlanet.com Selling Military Rolling Stock SOON!

It is going to be REAL interesting because there is a truck they are selling near me that GL is also selling right now in the same location. I can pretty much guarantee that after seeing this someone will buy it from GL before it makes it to GP. Does that mean they will be pulling lots before...

IronPlanet.com Selling Military Rolling Stock SOON!

Do you have to sign up to see the site or watch the auctions? Is there a link to the site that does not violate board policy so those of us who are out of the loop can go see?
