I have one of the gasoline powered units if that is what you are talking about. Mine is a Quincey but they are all about the same. Minis rated at 15 CFM at 125 lbs. That is NOT going to happen! It is quite adequate for air tools and a blaster though. Mine is powered by the A4032 military...
Disconnecting the battery while the engine is running to check the alternator is the fastest way to blow out the diodes in the alternator! If you are lucky you will lose the regulator first and the spike will not take out the diodes.
Bring on the flamers

Glad to hear it has the correct axles, are they Dexters? Also glad to hear no damage. I still may get the Kaufman but your experience has shown me many things to specifically look for when I do. ESPECIALLY the tires!!!!
Are those outriggers hydraulic or mechanical? If they are hydraulic I would...
I agree, it takes very little water to move a vehicle. I have had water slide a 40,000 lb. bulldozer sideways! The water was only halfway up the tracks and not moving fast enough to create whitewater around the machine. That was an effort to drag a heavy rope across a flooded section of road, I...
Words to live by for sure. That being said do we not all violate that rule buy purchasing stuff from G/L?;):-Paua I have a pickup at Mechanicsburg next week and now I will be thinking about that paragraph all dang week.
Yup, I saw that in the link I put up. They also make an 8,000lb. but you have to go up to 17.5 tires and wheels, BIG, BIG bucks!
7,000 lbs. is the break point between light car/landscape trailers and the more robust equipment trailers. There is generally a large difference in price. Kaufman...
I was looking at buying that very same trailer! It was rated at 12,000lbs.. I guess it depends on where they are selling it but you cannot claim tongue load in the GVWR. That would be a 14,000 lb. trailer assuming it has the 7000 lb. axles under it. I would like to see a pic of the data/weight...
I did find some tires rated that high but they are 16.5. Here is a linky.

Look at the product literature, then the 600-8K drop down and then tires are at the bottom.
I have to agree with Jeff, 14,000 lbs. is 3500 per tire and you will not find many 16" tires rated that high. I am pretty sure the highest rated axle I have seen with 8 lugs is 6000 lb. so you may want to check that axle rating. You are into the 14.5" tire size to get that kind of rating, or...
Well that was certainly a long 5 days, even for those of us watching helplessly. Hopefully there is a lesson to be learned here about being prepared ahead of time. This is not meant as any offense to anyone involved in this move since they "thought" they were within the weight limits. OOP'S! How...
No, I don't do chat much. You guys type way too fast for these arthritic old fingers to keep up. By the time I answer something the conversation has moved on to another subject!:D
I know when I put the new 6.5 long block in mine the injectors were at a different angle and I had to order the lines for a stock mid 90's 6.5 truck. They fit right on. Are you saying there are different 6.5 heads?
Because he had the courtesy to call them and explain why it was there. They knew right away that this was a freebie for them and guaranteed he was coming back for it. The junkers they are stuck with and make no money on because people never come back for them.
OK, I am embarrassed! And tired, and I have a migraine. But I guarantee I am nowhere near as tired a Adam. About now he should be making a zombie look feisty!
