This Memorial Day weekend the Natioanl Cemetery in Fayetteville would like to have a MV display for their flag day event, this is when local organizations place flags on all the veterans' graves(Sat. May 26th). If you are in the area and would like to participate PM me I would like to get back...
Could be, I don't even remember the name of the town, but when I stopped at the local 7-11 to ask about the gun, I got a lead on a M37 in town, but it was the guy Dad's so he didn't want to sell it.

I was on my way from NW Arkansas to Dallas via the backroads when I ran up on this piece of artillery on display in a very small town. It is in great shape for just being on the side of the road, not even a broken light! Had to share.

If you are interested in adding a crane to you MV here is your chance, one new-in-the-box is up for bid in Oklahoma.

Anyone recoginze a starter for my 5 ton. I am going to have a look at mine tomorrow to see if one of these is a match. I was looking at a diesel gen set this guy has and saw the starters, don't know a price yet but I bet they go pretty cheap.

Look it was our first time out, we were worried about making it, even though we did take the camera and we did stop at Taco Bell on the way home. We were too tall for the dirve through, so we ate on the truck in the parking lot, still didn't think of photos until we got back to the motor pool...
Drove about 6-8 miles in the wrecker today, just a tour around town, like being in a parade, a very loud parade! Once I got out on the road my fuel gage went crazy and has not been sane since, I guess it has a short, it now jumps everywhere or just shows a full tank? Anyway it was a great...
RE: battery
Jason, you made it back from Ft. Riley and six batteries too. I guess I should have gotten a couple more at the discount price before your high vol. demand on the supply ran up the price!!!!!!!

PS: Did you see any 3/4 ton trailer chassies coming up for sale at the GL...
IF only
If I had not won the M543 at Bragg back in Nov. I would be on my way to Mississippi Friday to have a look, at least to get a couple of shots of the In-Tow Light Bar on one of the wreckers. It is only what, 11 hours one way, but I could stop to see my parents on the way, may have to...
For those looking there are six wrecker coming up for sale in Mississippi in a few days, some of them are pretty scavenged but one or two look ok. Anyone near by who can have a look?
James G...
Since my last oil change in my Armada cost me $48, I have decided to change my own oil from now own. I know from other threads I can burn the used oil in the Multi-fuel in my 5 ton. What ratio of oil to diesel is a good rule of thumb?
Thanks,
James G.
This is the 24087 semi-gloss OD I got from Rapco. I got a case of the rattle cans to try out the color. My son really likes the OD, and the white stars would be good looking! And I already have a 715 Contact Maintenance Truck (6217) in camo along with its tools trailer.

My wrecker looks like it was painted 3-4 years ago by the NC State Police in three color camo, they did a poor job, there is surface rust on most of the painted areas? Maybe no primer or a poor one? Anyway I am going to repaint which do you like the camo or the OD?
