I have two M35A2's @ Selfridge ANGB (Mt Clemens, MI 48030
Considering having them trailered the 175 miles North to 48739
One has raised rear about 10' tall?
in about 3 weeks
pic of tall truck
cab top torn (as can be seen in the pics)
rough - no bid
Nothing written down about the brakes so I think it had a firm peddle
and welcome to the addiction!
I'll be bringing some M880 stuff,
check my Classified Ads - Steel Soldiers::Military Vehicles Supersite
Let me know if there is something you want me to bring along
2 M38 skid plates different years

-------------------------------------------------------------
Items that I am...
23 - surface rust, tires ok good box soft brake pedal - bid (although I didn't)
38 - brakes looks ok (Cosemetically), front shackles removed - bid if going cheap
Heres what we had wriiten down
11- no brakes* - no bid
35- ripped seat, rusty - no bid
69 - rusty, elec wipers, brakes* - bid if going cheap
(* based on brake pedal firmness or lack thereof only)
Much to your wifes relief.
Bill, I was on my way out from the preview when I seen your van.
Really wanted to go back & say hi, but had way way to much to get done.
Catch up with ya next weekend.
A note of caution for those that got trucks.
Half of them had no resistance on brake pedal .
a couple had busted mirrors.
all but one had dead or too weak to turn batteries.
5600 the shut down cable was froze in place , cable or IP I don't know
5658 is not driveable driveline parts missing.
5620...
I placed one bid each on two of them
and got them for the max bid.
It is most certainly an addiction.
Oh well, if there is a 12 step program for this I have 12 MV's to step on now. :cookoo:
Get ready for a January recovery after the EUC wait
I got two, almost screwed up and got 3, thought I got outbid on one and was looking over what was left. aua
Did a GL preview today, the GL trucks were mixed in with FMS hold trucks.
So I am methodically going from truck to truck with my note book.
and I walk up to my truck..........wait a minute my trucks at home!
yea it was hot & humid and I had sweat in my eyes. after the double take I realized...
I have two trucks two sets of troop seats
yet just 1 set of mounting brackets.
Granted I have M880's, while there are differences
I think the front 4 CUCV brackets could work on the M880
( I need 6 though)
This is becoming a difficult item to find for the ol Dodges
lol
there are 2 ambulances in that pic, the one in the foreground now lives in Georgia.

I haven't seen the steel ones in a while ( pc failure several months ago, lost all links)
Over in the CUCV forums someone just bought some aluminum ones to do this to a m1008.
They should be the same.
When I get around to doing this, I will have some machined up out of steel, the design is...
No go on the Dash pad or Pintle. might have a mirror, have to scrounge around.
Overflow bottle or tank?
I have some of these but will need to check their condition.
