Someone had a post a week or so ago saying their is a special anti-freeze for HD Diesel engines? Since the 543 had every drop of fluid removed when I picked it up, the anti-freeze is brand new! Can I add the missing component or do I have to drain and start over??? James G.

I found mine by stopping at any junk yard that has a mv, they sometimes have a lot of other military stuff laying around. Just keep looking, you can never tell what may show up for near nothing. James G.

Come spring I will be prepping and repainting the M543A2 to it's original colors and markings. Does anyone have any color photos of a factory fresh 543? I am looking for things like frame color, star locations and sizes, stenciled instructions, etc..... Thanks, James G.

Can I use two spare batteries with a cross over to 24 volts and run jumper cables to the in-truck two batteries to jump it off? Right now the two in-truck batteries will only make the stater go CLunk, Clunk. I would slave it off but my other running truck is 40 miles away. I don't want to...

Josh: That color looks like Krylon OD 4293, I have painted my 715 that color. It's cheap and rattle cans of it are available for $3-4. My truck has been out in th sun for two years no fading, cost me $40 to paint the whole thing. My the way a very nice looking wrecker. James G.

What is the going price on one of these really large towbars? I got a medium towbar from this same place for $75 without attachments. James G.

I have run up on a large towbar(300lbs/10 feet long) are both legs of the tow bar completely straight? This one has a slight bend about half way down the leg, is it damaged or is it built this way. The bend is in the non-lunnette leg. Thanks, James G.
