The guard unit that my unit shares the armory with got a bunch of new (rebuilt) generators. They were suppose to use to 6TL in them, but I looked and from the rebuilder have two optimas. And to hold them down they had a length of that flat stock with the holes in them strapping them down to...
Yes...if you have the time and money anything is possible.... :)
I'm sorry but that is a gay cammo job...:)
The auto trans may be difficult to mate up to the multifule unless you wanted to swap out the trans also...but then if you go with a stick you'de have to but in a clutch peddle and all...
CARC has also tested to cause cancer...so to me it's nasty and should be avoided...espically when you can get the Gillispie for a reasonable price and it is so easy to work with, and holds up very well.
Yep what he said....the -20. The gauge on the dash shows the condition of the batteries. So if your not in the green or on the green yellow border then you may have a battery problem or you may have a altinator problem....I know some help....:)
Yeah what they said....I'd stay away from the real CARC paint...it's nasty stuff....But the Gillispie paint in the NATO colors are great and I would recomend them.
You might do a web search. There are many vets who have webpages set up with pics of their time in country and many of them show SPC John Smith standing next to his truck etc and you might get some good ideas from them. Cool thing about the 60s is color film became less expensive so many GIs...
Ok I've been around MV for 25 years or so now so I'm not a newbie...but I have a question that makes me go huh?
Why did the military name the M37B1...B1 and not A1? Most MVs when they have a change in them go to the A1, then A2 and so on. M35, M35A1, M35A2, M35A3....for example. What was the...
Remember the M35A3 were M35A2 sent to AMG and torn down and rebuilt...so if you count them would you be counting a truck twice? Onces as an M35A2 and once as an M35A3?
Your bumper markings look like 6 ID 1 BDE HQ 52. Which means the truck was with the 6th Invatry Division 1st Bridage and was assigned to the Brigade Head Quarters and is the 52nd truck in the order of march...meaning in the units convoy it is the 52nd truck in the line.
Look on ebay the kits show up there every now and again. Also if you have an old #1 spark plug wire you can carefully strip the outer shielding off to exspose the actual wire and then you can get a pick up signal from that. This method works, but as I said requires you to mutilate a...
I'd love to buy it, but I don't think you'de want $25.00 a month payment till it was paid off.... :) Good looking truck would make a great camper to go to MV shows.
