Very nice work there. I've cleaned up the engine compartment space similar to that on all my trucks. Much easier to service under the hood. I cut the flange off the firewall end panel of the box and just have a gasket between that and mounting surface.
I don't know the current market value for this trailer.
It is a heavy trailer and high off the ground for most practical purposes. Over 11,000 lbs empty weight.
The 1970-71 Eldorado's 472 inch engine were Cadillac's best carbureted motor. There are companies with ready to bolt in motor mounts and some have flywheel/clutch setups for manual transmissions. Look around.
For some of us that have owned and used the M342a2's for years we are quite well in tune to what they are capable of in the real world. Yes, we feel lucky!
When I need to get the Hawkers in one of my trucks up to snuff from lack of use, I use this 8 amp charger. Has worked for years now. Bought it used for $30.
