It is 42x76", but slightly adjustable within a 5" range on length. Here is a shot of one of the hooks/buckles. I don't own a humvee, but if they have the same style cover tiedowns as the M1101/2 trailers (humvee trailer), than that is what the buckles connect to.
However, gimpy expressed his...
Yes, it is for an M1025A2 HMMWV. NSN: 3990-01-411-6575. Part number: 12446813 on item, however on the nsn info sheet it is listed having part number: 12446811. $50
I have a good bit of stuff accumilated that I will be bringing.
I have several screens for kitchen trailers. Most are nylon and a few are canvas/ $10 ea.
One new set of 6110 Rough Country add-a-leaf springs for the front of a saggy pair of CUCV springs/$70.
LED headlights in green buckets for...
Ah, felt up to the challenge of putting the front tires/rims on. Still had a little hop from the front for first ten miles. Retightened lug nuts (rims had a little rust in lug holes) and now it's gone and rides nice at 55 mph. Finally.
Thank you Ahab for taking the time and effort to put this up, even if in a drift. A very good read. In my years of dealing with this, I find that article to be dead on and explains prior frustrations with the company doctor. I thought he was just out to save the plant some cash. As the getting...
Thanks guys. Time is what has helped in previous episodes. I try to take measures to prevent it, knowing that it can and will recur. It always seems to be when I want it the least. Findlay is coming up in just over two weeks and it's my first time selling there, with plenty loading to do. Gotta...
Yesterday I got the tires mounted. The rims I acquired were straight, yet the tires were way off balance. The tire shop I frequent was nice enough to put balance beads in free of charge, and only charged $12/ea. for mounting the tires. Good people. Did not have them mounted on truck as I want to...
Disassembled two humvee wheels for the tires today and painted the civy 16.5 rims to mount up front. Used the CUCV to pull the runflats out. Tomorrow I am taking the tires and rims to town to get mounted and balanced.

Mine seems to be in 4x4 at least twice per week. I am one of those hill folk that drive/park in the backyard and it rains here so darn often. Any 4x4, I ever had, in two wheel drive just does horrible on wet grass. Especially with the light stock bed and the 4x4 parts shifting the center of...
True! Wow, thats some real twist! Heck, my frame probably would fail on that. Being this is my only pickup truck, I don't take it on any intense stuff like that. I will continue looking for two more civy 16.5 rims and get the humvee rims off kind of soon. Especially after you brought the twist...
No. It came with humvee tires on bent up civy 16.5 rims all around. I like the slightly higher gear ratio the 37" humvee tires give. Not that I would do that with different gear ratios front and rear, but I never put any 4x4 in 4 wheel drive unless I am in broken traction anyway. As long as the...
