Being owned by the same person and affiliated with you are two different things! All listings say the same thing pertaining to loading assistance. Either make it be none when it says none (so a person knows in advance to avoid that location) or make it so you spend $$ to make money and quit...
Thank you. That explains it.
If they have a remote location they are storing at down there, than that makes sense. However, to run a business, one should have what is needed to do so, in my opinion. Or at least communicate it with a list of what options are available at each location. Oops, I...
Really? I thought all diesel's red line was 2200 rpms. This is another good day. They say if you just learn one thing per day, it's a good day. I gotta get a tach.
Won a M1061 last week at Ft. Polk. Thought I would try the Veritread option first. They all wanted way too much to ship a partial load to Ohio so I took Rounders' offer. Today Rounders tells me GP said they will load it on the Rounders trailer for a mere (sarcasm) $250! Really GP?! Really!? What...
Oh yeah, about two weeks ago the CUCV healed itself with one issue. The wiper blades used to stop wherever they were when I would shut the switch off. No biggie, as I have had this style civy Chevy for 25 years, and a few did this. All at once the CUCV just started working right and going to...
Thanks. I will bring that to the attention of my tax prep lady. I get to claim the suspension since my miles are WAY less than 5000, and I am only 34k lbs. loaded. Heck, I put less than 2k on since I've had it. I only haul very local and not all that often. Half is on-site work.
I will be there with a long list of items to buy. Do I need to pre-register or anything to bring my M929A2? Can I just bring it for Saturday only? Will it be shunned for having the USDOT and PUCO numbers painted on the doors?
I put new kingpin bushings and springs in. I also used the 1/8" washer in as True Knight had mentioned since I am using 37" humvee tires. It indeed works. No death wobble up to my new top speed of 60 mph in the CUCV. The tires need balanced however. Just another step toward a smoother ride.

I would like, myself, to get a 5 ton that isn't commercial so I can play with it in the mud. Only reason I went commercial was because it is a dumper and I want it to pay for itself. Only reason I mentioned all I went through was to show a worse case scenerio for you, which can be fairly easy...
As for the 5 ton, I finally got the road salt/cinders washed off the truck and ran it long enough to air up the leaky tire. Wasn't time to attempt plugging the tire, as I was replacing kingpin bushings on the CUCV first.
Thanks for the offer and hospitality. I still have to work with when I am going. I will most likely time it for the rally again and put an extra day in the schedule to stay overnight in a tent. I would like to hit the trails, for sure, even if in the back with a few parts!
Good to know there are plugs being used on these tires. I will do it myself, or at least try. If not, theres a real nice heavy truck tire shop that I am on the good side of since I ordered extra rim seals for and took to them.
