Mine were Rough Country. Not the greatest brand but somewhere in the middle. They lasted longer than the smoking 350 gasser. A little on the stiff side with the extra leaf.
I hope that works. A lot of "modern" chargers are digitally controlled and are a fail in many aspects. I had a friend give me a battery out of a burnt up battery booster because he said his charger said it was not able to take a charge. One day on my old analog unit brought it up to 12.4v and it...
I have installed add a leaf springs before and really saw no noticable improvement, on a ' 78 civy 3/4 ton Chevy. A week later, I went to Wheeling Tire and got 2" lift springs for $200 and used the add-a-leaf springs with them.
Agreed. Maybe one for $1500 and a nice discount for both rear axles. I would go $2250 for two. Air only, however. Also, if they need to be different for the A2, than I would need A2.
I used a 40 year old 6 amp 12v charger on the two batteries I had that had about 3v in them. At first I gave up on them and considered them dead, just using two in my truck. They took no charge in 24 hours. Then one day (months later) I decided to throw the charger on one for "days" to see what...

Well, that chamber was a pretty easy fix. I took it off, straightened the bent side of the chamber, and reinstalled it. Had a little thread damage, but with patience (having the pushrod in the way) the threads got cleaned. That metal them chambers are made of is pretty heavy duty. It took some...
Well, upon a more stringent inspection, I see some older forklift damage to one of the master cylinder air chambers. The way I know this is older damage is the rust on the scratches that were made on the bottom of the trunion. Yet no evidence of a second fork under there. Seeing this put two and...
I just wanted to let folks know that all this drama is in the past, the trailer is home, and GP made things right. They do seem to have a descent level of principles.
Added to the collection this past week. Got an M101A2 that needs some cosmetic help. A good bit of peeling paint and surface rust.
The M1061A1 however, is in excellent condition. Everything works like new and the paint is perfect, other than the bottom of the landing gear feet. It came with...
