I bought an M105A2 on 12/14/15 and paid for the bill of sale and havn't even gotten that yet. I guess a total of three months on the EUC process isn't so bad. Luckily, I am in no hurry.
Ok. I know darn well I wasn't drinking today. Half of my answer has been deleted as well as mwmules' question regarding the parts I wanted in a complete cargo cover for my M929 dump truck. How and why could this be?
I have a very similar situation with the M1061A1 that I just got. Because of it being over 4000 lbs. I need to have a title to get a liscense plate. Probably more so for commercial vehicles. We don't need anything but a weight slip to get a lighter trailer registered/plated, as they don't need a...
Indeed. By pattern, I meant making the same, yet freehand. When I was in, we had all our 5 tons (dumps) painted and I remember how nice they looked lined up in the motorpool. They were very "uniform".
I took your advice and bought 50' of the same brand of copper 2/0 wire. I really liked the flexibility of the real rubber insulation. I then crimped and soldered new ring ends on and attached the 500 amp slave cable ends. Then I made wraps of friction tape every 18" to keep the wires together...
Well, I took that advice and used the 2 gauge wire for one kickbutt set of new jumper cables. Long enough to pull behind a car along the highway to jump. Crimped and soldered to the ends that connected to the new parrot clamps I bought. Thanks for the idea of how to use that smaller cable.
Better keep it then! The pattern should be pretty easy to see with some google image searches. The CUCV that won MV of the month (only CUCV that won any) in May last year. It is virgin. His pics will show the pattern well...
I just made slave cables with 2/0 wire and crimped the ring ends on first and then soldered. I feel "keeping" the good connection will prevent the heat in the first place. Of course with that heavy of a wire I had to use a torch to get it hot enough to make the solder sweat in. I also always...
Don't know if it's a M1008 or '09 but with the stance of the '08 before sagging, I am very confident the 2.5" superlifts will put you pretty level with the rear. These front Chevy springs were destined for failure being the general put the arc backward to start. I dont think the shackles need...
I want a complete tan cargo cover for my M929! I have yet to see one but sure would like to see one on my truck. It would also reassure my bringing the truck.
