Data plate I had seen for the XM381 deuce listed it as a 2 ton cargo truck. It listed it's empty weight at 10,300lbs.
The off road loaded gvw listed was 15,310
It had a total highway gvw of 17,750lbs.

"Found these pics from quite a few years ago. Chopper belongs to MAGI. I hauled it for them from State Surplus in Houston. This pic is from my "pre-compliance" days when I ran without any DOT credentials. No more".

Something about stepping up to a challenge.
One of the C45's I've...
Thanks!
It will fool people because it's a 1959 430T that has had the front end swapped.

You are welcome Warthog. Glad top contribute when I can
Since you are editing for model designation, there were no C-K trucks built in the 1987 model year. GM made a break that year to ready the new C-K light truck platform introduction for 1988 model year. Your 1987 Burb 4x4 would be a V20.

Correct model designation.
The square body civilian GM units from 1973-1986 were K model 4x4 and C model 2wd. Beginning with the 1987 model year a square body 4x4 was a V series and the 2wd was an R series.
I will look around. I have a few sets of the installation prints somewhere.
Here's the installation pdf file.
I only drilled the fenderwell for the air lines on one truck and did not care for the way it works. Running the lines the way shown in the pic works better.
I always show up early for my appointments and get out fast, lucky I guess.
Last time I was at Lockbourne I was loaded, chained down, and back on the street 15 mins before my appointment time.
Have same results at Broad Street on the east side and no problems at W-P.
Good thread here showing deuce dumps working.
