Aftermarket used to have 15" eight lug wheels available. I bought a great parts vehicle that had a set on it with 33/12.50-15 BFG's mounted.

I've been running 33/12.50 tires on GM 8" wheels for almost 40 years with no problems. Remember as you go up in tire diameter that the M1009 has 3.08 gearsets in the axle's stock configuration.

Greg stopped here today. We mounted 2 tires on the rims I located. Aired up a third, hope it stays up. Tossed 3 extra LT235-15 tires in the back for good measure.
