I would agree with Dave P. I just spent a whole weekend chasing down small air leaks in my fuel line. If it is sucking air, the truck will run under powered or not at all. It is probably a combination of both air leaks in the fuel line and garbage in the filter and tank.
Glad to see them going to a Steel Soldiers member. Sounds like a typically pick up for me. Times I thought I could drive them home I needed a flatbed. Times that I show up with a flatbed I could of driven them home. It always seems to work like that. Nice story though.

If you unplug the buzzer under the dash you should be able to hear the fuel pump. If you do not hear it, then it is not working. On every M35A2 that I owned, you could hear the fuel pump when it was working.
They are all worth going to. The question is whether or not do you have the time and money to afford it. You must pick and chose your battles wisely (at least that's what the wife tells me).
