All the power for the hydraulics from what I've seen run from the Power unit itself. I know this because I had the chance to help some Motor Pool guys separate a unit form it's trailer and there must of been about 10 hydraulic lines connecting the power unit to the trailer. Oil all over the...
For a side note, the reason the Marines went with the MK48 instead of the HEMTT type trucks was because they can maneuver more easily on ship when space and parking is limited.
Give Ray Patton a call. He is always going that way and he is as nice and fair you will ever get. He could also bring it to his house in VA a keep it awhile for nothing. However, I had to pay a wrecker company $150 to load a M813 on his truck. This company does it all the time for the GL site.
Re: RE: Re: What is the best year of Duce to buy?
Was your truck purchased from Pineville? BUYER BEWARE AT PINEVILLE. TO ALL who may purchase a truck from this location, word on the street is that some of the NG guys running the show over there have thier own little thing going on like...
Even with this setup and the adjustment on the highest level, the trailer was still too high and I was dragging the tail of the trailer. I still would have to come down another foot and a half to make it right. Yes, I know it is a five ton, but expect the same troubles with a M35.

I stole mine for $100 a piece for tire and rim. I'm going to buy some more for the M813A1 also. The big problem is that they weigh about 450 lbs each! Pick up seven and you got yourself a load.
I use the HEMTT split rims on my 5 ton and they are great. They track perfectly. I didn't need to flip any hubs or any other modifications. However, the front studs are about 1/8 of an inch shy of getting a full nut on. Eventually I will change this but it is not a safety concern for me...
Exactly Sermis, they can keep the "new" technology switch. The "headlights" or any other lights externally of the switch were not left on. The light (not the blue one) that is on when you press the middle button will stay on if you do not press the "all off" twice and it WILL drain you...
OK, my turn.
I dislike the pushbutton switches a lot. They are a pain to feel in the dark. Also, I had problems where if you just touch the enter button once, all the buttons light up. During the night this is OK, however, during the day if it is on you cannot see it lite up. This led to a...
