Seems like this is turning into a build thread.

. @CARC686 You will have plenty of space - without barking your knuckles on the radiator - using a standard balancer puller. Even using a half inch ratchet... And room to tap the new one into place (after you replace the seal).

    My father's Kraz 255

. Wow! That is a NEAT truck... Seems like you might have a nice place to work on it as well. In the shade - under the trees. Those are some monster tires too. .

    Project Wild Weasel M1009

. Dang Right! It goes out and runs around, goes back to the charging station and "gasses up" and does it all over again. Only thing you need to know is that the remote lawn mowers WILL NOT deal with tall grass... Husqvarna 115H shown above works really well on flat ground. Start it up...

If I had a Dollar for Every Time....

. Pretty darn neat... You knew their system better than they did. .

Good morning and happy father's day weekend!

. Welcome @DieselDr , Welcome to the Outfit! Don't hesitate to go to the TM (Technical Manual) section and download the MEP003 books. If you have questions, don't hesitate to open a new thread - and take pictures - and post your questions.

    Dark Seas M1008 Project

. Yep. You can buy a replacement lock cylinder online. You could put a kill switch if you want to...

    NEW TO ME MEP-803A

. Might be that Tractor Supply would have a little trailer - without sides - that you could mount the MEP onto. Like @FarmingSmallKubota mentions, 1200 pounds on tiny tires might make you unhappy. On the other hand if it sits most of the time who cares...

    M-1078 Door Handles/ Interesting Topic?

. Yes. Go to the "HELP" section of your local parts house and pick up a pair of handles and install them. @chucky used that idea and it worked really well. https://steelsoldiers.com/threads/what-have-you-done-to-your-fmtv-or-lmtv-today.165843/post-2475084

. No Sir. Did not receive any pictures... Want to try again?

M820 Trailer Project - Advice Needed

. Well, the M820 is a truck body on a trailer - unless I miss my guess. I would expect to see possible deterioration on top and in the seams around the top of the box. Then again too, it my be surprisingly tight since it is on a trailer... It won't be "racked" left and right tearing out the...

    help with run flat tool

. Yeah, neat! The rest of us use a ratchet strap mostly because we didn't know there was a "military runflat tool". Sounds to me like something is in the "wrong slot" and so it is slipping. Wish I had a better idea. Any sort of instructions in the box?

M820 Trailer Project - Advice Needed

. Well... I don't think you could hurt yourself at $1000 or even $1500 for some fairly water tight storage space. And if it isn't watertight, it seems that you have already solved that problem in days gone by. Not sure what you could do with the trailer - but you might be able to sell that...

Brake light and turn signal drivers side out only.

. Hate to say it, but that means you definitely have a grounding issue...

Brake light and turn signal drivers side out only.

. You might try looking at the ground for the lights. Clip an alligator clip to the negative post on on your battery at one end of the wire - and the other end to the "light bucket" and see if anything changes.

    5 Ton Dump M929A2

. The TM's are available here for download. The ability to get a "tipper" set of books just isn't possible. The 900 Series trucks have all the trucks in that set of books... The axles are the same for all these trucks, so brakes and wheel seals are there in those books.

    Wagner 4800 28v headlight

    . That's a heck of a find!

    New (returning) member

. Welcome Back! You may want to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your New To You truck. That and purchase a Multi-Meter for diagnosing electrical issues. Link below for the TMs https://steelsoldiers.com/forums/cucv-tms.114/

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

. I found a "glossy" of it. Looks like a toy to me...
