    Advice on M929 Dump Truck

. Guess it was good that you had a dozier to tie off to. Went back and looked at the picture again - and there "ain't no trees" for you to tie off to! Yeah, and it does look like it just sank down in the bog... Wow!

    Advice on M929 Dump Truck

. Wow! You didn't think that maybe you should stop churning before you buried it below the axles? That winch is going to work hard to pull that loaded "Tipper" out of the mud... .

    IA Insurance questions...

. Sounds like exactly what you need to tell the agent. That shouldn't raise the eyebrows of the folks wanting to insure your vehicle.

    M149A2 Fix-up Thread

. Interesting Reading... Maintenance leaders, according to TACOM Ground Safety Action (GSA) message 22-009, dated Mar 21, 2022, you need to identify your M149-series water trailers and inspect them for frame corrosion. That’s because TACOM and DEVCOM inspected some of these water trailers and...

    M989 vs M989a1

. Yep. I bought mine from an individual. He towed it from Ohio to North Carolina. Had himself an air compressor in the back of his Dodge Ram so he had brakes. Looking back at that now, I am not so sure how safe it was. Especially on the Interstate Highways from there to here...

    1985 M998 Driveline Issues

. Might be worth jacking up the rear tires (or the fronts) and turn the wheels. Is the drive shaft wiggling up and down? What about laying down on the ground - and push up on the drive shafts. Do they move? New truck? New to you truck? Picked up at a Yard... With a forklift? .

    M989 vs M989a1

. I have one. It is a M989A1 that hauls a S141 around. Not much honestly... It sits more than it gets dragged around. They are heavy duty! Only drawback is trying to back it. They are just difficult and you have got to be on your "A Game" to make it work.

Any interest on a deep dive into Cat C12 oil systems? Specifically into Oil Pressure?

. I would like to see what you have to share. I have a MK23 and it sure can't hurt to learn more about it... .
