What is the best power steering pump?

There are 2 pumps for trucks with remote mounted PS reservoir, one is 105 BAR, the other is 120 BAR, the REV truck is 120 BAR. the TM’s spell out the appropriate pump based on SN via the UOC. But to be fair, either pump will work…

    m998 with parking brake upgrade

the adjustment is and has always been at the lever, regardless of the MWO or not, if it’s not stopping the truck, you probably need to adjust the take up on the clevis under the truck at the lever inside the rubber boot, remove the clevis pin and adjust accordingly

This hvac ductwork does do anything!

I don’t do anything….nothing comes through it, if someone insists, stuff a shop rag into each side, this way you have a rag when you have the engine cover off to wipe your hands. you can alway install a rubber cover form hardware store with a hose clamp.

    IDLER ARM BROKE

I’ve relied on “Packaging and finish“ on the product….anything produced for the Govt is in a long term storage paper, nothing is in cheao boxes, no cheap clear shrink wrapping. Halfshafts for example are painted with black CARC, not blued…also look for GKN stamp from the mfg“er. electrical...

This hvac ductwork does do anything!

even when the cross duct is installed, absolutely nothing comes through it, heat or AC…I remove them on all trucks. There is a newer duct mod from the factory that actually works. also, when the old cross duct is installed, it has to be removed to do just about anything at the rear of the...

    Flexplate help

Ive installed hundreds of starters in HMMWV’s, I’ve never once noticed a difference of the engagement with or without the shim…i always use them, but Ive received more than I can count that did not and were problem free. I don’t use the shim on engines in the test stand, I just bolt the starter...

    cooling fan switch thread size?

like all civilian style viscous fan clutches, it locks up based on temp flowing across the thermostat on the clutch, I’ve been installing these on trucks in my shop, so it maintains an overall lower temp, the OEM setup is on and off, doesn’t come on till 220, the OEM fan is a 14k CFM, it moves a...

Anything soft skinned is not allowed to leave a base…All tactical vehicles now have to be armored or Armor ready. what’s interesting is the IDF uses soft skinned A2’s all Over the palce….they don’t seem to care.
