Jeff I looked for some sleeves and only found some for a 235 they are to small . the sleeves for the 302 are 1 3/4 outside od and 3/8 to 7/16 wide they are split and springy to hold them in place . I have never made any of these before but you maybe able to use a large stainless hose...
when you had the intake off the head where the three sleeves that fit in the head and intake there ? with out these rings air can get pulled in there also .
I mounted a 45000 winch off a wrecker on the back of my m52a2 last year and it is ran off of the transfer case I can't pull a wide trailer but it pulls the m269 wrecker low boy and the m131a5c fuel trailer that is now used to carry water just fine .
I bought a part time pto from memphis equipment $1200 for a rebuilt unit . the out put shaft is tapered spicer makes a yoke to run a drive line or you can put a sprocket to use a chain turn a winch .
Last summer my m52a2 started leaking a round the bottom drain plug. it looked like some thing hit the petcock I removed it from the truck and dropped it off to get repaired .when I went back they had it apart and where going to put in a new core but then they could not find a core some of...
My 53 m211 was a snow plow in Canyon City Colorado before I bought it in the the early 1980s . they cut off the frame to move the plow closer to the truck the front cross member was beefed up a lot that is the only real frame cross member till the next one behind the cab . the frame was tweaked...
I have seen overflow tanks made from old military canteens if the canvas holder is used mounting it is fast just one hole to drill to mount and one hole to drill in the lid for the hose and it looks like it belongs on a military truck .
Antelope valley equipment had new ones in 2002 in a sealed bag dated 1968 . wow time go's fast . but at that time they where $220 they may be worth a call 661-945- 6788 part # 7368643
the roofs side panels stored close to the floor and strapped to the back of the cab . I found this out in one off the parts trucks I bought the straps on the other m211 trucks looked like they where never used to hold anything I would like to see a picture of every thing in place .
when you get the dual chains laid out on the tires and move the truck if you go to far and the chain slides off it is easer to start over then to try to pull the chain up over the tires . hook the middle first then the inside and last the outside .

FMJ I ended up with 3 m35 motors two with out turbo and one set up for a turbo .I have used a starter off one of them for my 5 ton . they are not locked up or have any holes in the blocks . they are all mounted on wooden motor stands . I don't have much in them . and if you are going to...
I have found the some thing on my 2 1/2 ton and 5 ton . my 53 GMC had no outer seals when I first got it. I replaced the old seals and wear ring and the missing seal also sealed the key way and 3000 miles later I pulled one a part because of a wheel cylinder and found gear lube in the hub...
In reverse the stub needs to be out .forward stub needs to be in . on m122/ m135 trucks all the linkage is rods that all tie in to the transmission shift control .
When I brought home my m211 years a go I drained the rear ends to put in new gear oil and I noticed some chunks of metal I put my finger inside the drain hole and felt more chunks . I pulled the third member out and every thing was fine . I could not believe someone replaced a rear end with...
Your transfercase is single speed ratio is 1.16 to 1 the bottom shift rod needs to be shifted for forward and reverse . forward is in and reverse is out
