I’m sorry if I missed the truck needing to be off in the TMs. I had tried N and P and assumed something make be broken as some of the shift linkage seemed to bind up at times.
I searched through the TM for the BTM instructions and have come up empty. Searching the document for the terms...
Wow - truck off!? That’s surprising. Better not need to shift in a hurry lol.
What about BTM? How high do you keep rpm’s? My truck only went to about 1500 rpm with my foot on the brake.
Once the diffs lock, and you start moving - do you let off the brake? does the Diff stay locked if you do?
Went off road for the first time recently. I had some trouble shifting the T case. It would grind gears when trying to shift. Park (for the trans) seemed to work for shifting into HL but not always. I took a video

but the only time I got it into L...
Unrelated but, are those grounding harnesses I see many people installing truly necessary? I have a Rev truck and I’m wondering if any problem that may have existed has since been fixed at the factory
I mean, here’s another example. Pictures of the same truck which looks wildly different. And none of my colors look like either of this trucks colors.

I spent over 2 hours at Sherwin Williams this morning. After some searching, they did find only the 24052 but, it was not the correct color once they mixed it. It was a grey-blue and nothing like the green from Home Depot.
Just to clarify I am looking for tint only- not paint. So ordering...
I found some pictures of older vehicles with the color I wanted, here they are:

And also the m715 in this thread...
So I ended up going the Sherpasteed route with a black dog customs front plate. 17,000# rating and synthetic rope. The Black Dog plate is the same dimensions as oem and super hard steel- i couldn’t sand it when prepping for paint.
The Mile Marker tho, I am now confident will fit. This is...
The Hummer Supply sent me this pic as "proof" it will fit. But i noticed round airlift hooks in the hood. Did all the ECVs go to the beefier squared off hooks, or only the armoured ones?
I’ve called and emailed Mike marker twice now for some better dimensions on the thing, no response yet. I’m hoping to call again today and see if I can’t get them to agree to free returns, shipping on their dime, if it doesn’t fit.
I know, I’m just wondering if anyone has put it on and if it’ll work I guess.
This guy puts one on here, but had to notch his frame. My front nose is different tho and I don’t have those brackets encroaching inward.
This isn’t the military MM winch is it? 24v tho and looks like it would fit:

Mine were very faded. I didn’t even think I had them on the hood, until I wiped the hood down after a rain. They were suddenly visible when wet.
Is there a resource to look up your truck by its number? Would be cool to know where it’s been.
Have you found a replacement for your headliner yet? I gave up trying to remove the old adhesive, and figured I’d just cover it up.
I had originally thought if peel and stick carpet squares, or a thin outdoor carpet and some spray adhesive . Then I had this thought, might add some sound...
I’ve always love the M715. That’s my other dream truck and I planned on getting one, before the Humvees went surplus.
I really like the dual hitch receiver idea too.
