When we installed the new harness it had the new connector for the box. Same issue still there. Thank you for the help all good stuff. The relays under the dash are working Two of them. I will try to clean the contacts for the **** of it but have had two different known good boxes in there...
I installed a new glow plug controller that came off the same take out truck so they are a matched set. Original glow plug controller when installed had the same results so everything matches.

Yes the batteries were disconnected each time anything was done. The start box was replaced with same model number (used take out) and I had a backup start box that I installed just in case I had a bad one and same issue. Thank you for the help.

Below is a pic on the boxes. Top pic is...
With the stater wire disconnected and switched moved to start you can hear a solenoid clicking under the dash but thats all. No gauge movement. With the starter wire hooked up and switch moved to run the starter cranks and no movement on gauges and no wait light. When switch movered to start the...
Thanks for the fast response but I did check that and they are correct. I replace the cheap key switch for the real lever switch hoping that was the problem. Power is being back fed somewhere it shouldn't. I am wondering if I may have a problem up at the alternator as a lot of wires head up to...
The story and sorry for the length. Water got into my control box as the glow would flash now and then driving along and sometime the glow light would be dim while driving. So I pull the control box and open it to find a little water in it. I replaced the control box, Installed new glow plugs...
Looks like the engine harness fired. ****. Found melted wires. In the market for a new engine harness but what is the difference between the 6.2 and the 6.5 as I have. The listings for a harness all list for the 6.2. It is not a turbo. Thanks for the help.

Not getting anything on the glow plug circuit. No light or blinking light on run setting. Just blinks the light while cranking. Have to look at just where the power wire goes when put in run setting before the control box. with all the other things not functioning I suspect a relay somewhere not...
Could use some help. A little water got into the control box and that was that. So long story short. New box, new temp controller for box, New key switch. New lighting multi switch. New overkill grounding cables (6 of them). New glow plugs as all were open. Two circuit breakers behind gauges...
I did disconnect the batteries but found water in the old box so something shorted out. Would a bad temp unit cause these issues? I don't believe so. The boxes had the same model number. I put the dried out control box back in just for testing and it has the same issue. No headlights but does...
My PBC box went out and replaced it with another but no wait light, Headlights, volt meter. Wait light blinks on the crank. Just where are the circuit breakers? I know of the one next to the steering column but that should be self resetting. What an I missing????? Also not getting the "thump"...
I also replaced my bulbs with LEDs and have been very happy. These can be had for under three bucks each shipped. Very bright.
