I considered using larger cable, but since I was re-spooling 3 winches(760 feet!),I went with the 5/8, if I ever need extra capacity,I always carry 2 single sheave snatch blocks in every truck.
I usually carry 5 to 6 on the wrecker.
The manual states the OEM for the wheels was/is Accuride wheels.
It would be a simple matter of getting the correct hub piloted wheel with the proper backspacing and offset, plus the correct lug pattern and size.
After measuring the wheels on my M322 trailer,I believe the proper wheel is as...
Well,I finally got around to posting up what I did for the taillights.
I ended up replacing the 2 OmniVolt LED lights, both worked to start with, then the right just gave up,no lights or turn signals at all.
Luckily I had 2 NOS metal taillights to replace them,I just had to wire in a separate...
I swapped in a NOS ENDT 673 Mack into my M51A1 dump to replace the one in it that is having cam issues, sorry no pictures, time was of the essence with this swap.
I'll do my best to keep everything for the trailer here,
I did take the part number for the axle and look up the specs for it,Hendrickson claims a 25,000 lb load for each axle, and each tire has a load rating of 11,400 lbs.
Just basing it on the tire capacity alone, that's 45,600 lbs, minus the...
Will do on the wiring for the taillights simp,it will be later on this week before I can get to it,in the middle of an engine swap on my M51A1 dump right now.
If you get in touch with the fellow in AL with the tires,I could use a couple myself(mine had no spare and 1 is flat spotted).
I could...
Pics of this afternoons progress, ramps mounted with the new pins,I used 3/4 mild steel to make the outer end caps, both plug and perimeter welded to the shaft.
Update!
I purchased a section of 2 inch diameter, cold rolled 1144 steel rod to make the missing ramp mounting pins.
For those with the Load King trailers, you will need approx 84 inches total length, cut in half to make the 2 pins, yes, you could use pipe or something smaller, this is just what I...
Success!
The above mentioned spring brake valve worked perfectly,I did note that the parking brake valve does not seem to do anything, after charging the air system,it never set or released the spring brakes,It may have some crud in it,more time will tell.
Thanks simp,I ordered a Sealco 110800 spring brake valve to replace the missing one,I think I have the piping figured out,I'll know more this evening after I am done.
Terex/Load King M322 LT trailer progress
Ok folks,I will cover some of the repairs and part numbers for the members that recently purchased on of these trailers.
First off, does anyone have the TM or like for the Holden or Load King M322 LT EET trailer?
Specifically,I am needing the air...
Well, another successful recovery in the mirror,
Roughly 800 miles in 2 days,7 mpg on the trip down,6 mpg on the way back. Jennifer did manage to get 62.2 mpg in the chase vehicle though.
The Mack did notice the trailer back there, not as bad as I thought it would,I managed to maintain...
Hi folks,
I will be leaving here with the M54A1C on Friday April 29th and headed to Leesburg, GA to pick up my M322 LT equipment trailer from Sandcobra164.
Hopefully all will go well,we plan to overnight in Cordele, then make the trip back on Saturday.
We will be taking I-85 south to US-441...
I preparation for the trip down to pick up the M322 I won,I am replacing the bypass coolant lines as well as the coolant feed lines to the air compressor on the M54A1C.
Parts for a 673 Mack are not as readily attainable on the road compared to a Cat or Cummins,so it pays to do your prep work...
We took the M54A1C to watch the N&W J611 come through Morganton this morning at 1100 on it's way to Asheville, our very own Ferroequineoligist was on board,he is visible at the 33 second mark in the first car behind the 2 diesel locomotives.

I used my M62A1 and M103 genset trailer(converted to haul my air compressor, welder, and tool box) to remove, clean, and re seal the final drive on a John Deere 450 AA track loader/backhoe combo.
It would be difficult to do without a wrecker anymore.
Pictures!
