Scary stuff… something that you wouldn’t want to do alone. I don’t think you could survive more than a few days. I’m pretty impressed by the yota and Rover. Nice outing
I have a m1165 that had 83 miles since 2014 reset and it needed a lift pump. I believe it failed and put fuel into my oil. After taking it off it was like auto parts store item that Melton uses. The new pump that I got from HPG was heavy duty and had zero travel in it. My m1123 had 132 miles on...
I’m not a big fan of bed liner but I would be tempted to spray the back with Line-X or something equal. I see trucks at auction and they are all rusted from the armor. Maybe POR15 would be good for the back also.
My non-runner had a really bad oil leak from auction pics. I changed the o-rings on the oil filter adapter because it looked like it was coming from there. When I changed the oil I put dye in it so I could find any other leaks. After I replaced the IP I let in run for a few hours off and on and...
This is how much fees are paid you have to pay sales tax. Some people won’t have to pay taxes but I did even though my state doesn’t collect taxes on military vehicles
I like to put oil in the oil filter. I put 12 to 14 ounces in the filter and let it sit overnight and I didn’t spill a drop. I have done 3 oil changes on my 2 trucks and first time was a mess. I used a garage tote for the 2nd and 3rd and it was better. Drain pan in slight wind had a small stream...
I took my nephew to the store and it was nothing but Chummley mugs and t-shirts… I met the old man in Walgreens and he was taller and thinner. I met chummley when he was going to his attorneys office and he was talking about his pizza oven… I’m so not interested in pawn stars but I’m glad they...
I would rather take my chances at auction rather than a truck from someone else. I have bought 2 trucks one running and one not. Runner I replaced 2 serpentine belts and changed fluids and thermostat. My running M1123 has been perfect and I did change fuel gauge and sending unit. My non running...
I would imagine they would have better clamping force and they are reusable. If you ever decided down the road to turbo it. Might be a good selling point for the next buyer that might want a turbo. I don’t like bolts you can’t reuse.
My mt’s from 2002 were new but cracked. They rode perfectly. I had a blowout and put on a tire from my m1165 that were new and 2014 and that one tire will bounce from 40 to 45 and get smooth. I don’t even know how that’s possible
Plate has to come off. You need to have no more than 1/2” of rod sticking out of the block. I ordered my pump and gasket from HPG. There is a difference in both. I put grease on my rod lol and put it in the freezer overnight and that gave me plenty of work time for my limited abilities. I have...
Camo FaceTimed me when I was having ip problems. I never could have received that kind of help from words. He was able to see what I was seeing and I was able to do what he suggested real-time. I agree with your forum statement but sometimes a video call is worth a 1,000 words. You can still...
