Mine is not hooked up to the antenna right now until I find the cable jumper to hook the antenna of the R-110 through the antenna of the RT-67. I currently have the 116,117,118 to an AB-15 base mounted on a MP 50 with the corner mount. Stop in sometime when you are down this way if you want to...
Trucks and trailers are loaded and we'll be headed out in the morning. I figure we ought to roll into Dayton around 3:00 pm. Looking forward to meeting as many members as possible.
How much are you going to ask for the cases with drawers? I would also like one if they are reasonable. I'll be there for the entire show, no tables but I have vehicles on display.
Actually it is a 69' as indicated by the vehicles registration number of 04M 081(69). The contract date may be 68' but the truck was accepted by the military in 69'.
I've also had great luck with using Napa Synthetic Enamel Reducer to thin all the Gillespie paint I've used over the last 6-7 years. It was the thinner that Army Jeep Parts recommends to use and it worked great everytime I used it. As for how much, I used 6 gallons on my complete frame off...
I'll be there from Tues through Sun. I will not have any spaces, but will have two of my vehicles on display inside for judging. I'm bring my M-715 and M-37 for display. I'll be wandering around with cash in my pockets looking for good deals and any items that strike my fancy. I'll write...
Of the three trucks I own, the M715 by far is my favorite and the most fun to drive. If you are a person of any size, then it beats the M37 hands down. I'm 6'3" and have a hard time getting my foot up onto the clutch of the M37 were there is plenty of room in the cab on the M715. My 67' with...
I already have all my stuff in for the show. I registered 2 of my trucks for judging and made all the reservation I needed. The last one I was at was a few years ago when it was at Dayton the last time. It was a good show with a lot of vehicles and plenty of vendors to get all the parts I...
I know the markings are not original. As they are a set that I made. That M725 was restored by a guy named Jeff who was living in Michigan, but I think has now moved to the mid west somewhere. He also restored a Goat that I did markings for also. I cannont remember if those where the correct...
Best set up I've ever seen was from Pierre Jalving, and it was a simple clamp that attached to the handle of the gas can. Then a stock mirror arm was mounted to it. Nice and easy no drilling needed. If I was smart I would have taken a pic of it.
Here is the direct link for my Delta Team Decals, Homepage I make all the decals from a 7 year outdoor material and the paint mask sets are made from a special low tack masking material. When compaired to the other "well known" decal guy, you'll find that my kits are half the price and provide...
Nope, that's just a standard civilian gladiator. Nothing military about it. It would be far easier to find a M715 than to cut up a civi gladiator and convert it to a M715.
I hopefully will not have anything. Last year was a good friends wedding in PA. and this year was my class reunion. For next year I'm telling everone to piss-off, because I've got to get around more green iron.
Crap, looks like I missed another good show there. This was the second year in a row that I had other required events I had to be at instead of Claire. Lets hope for next year.
Second year in a row where it has fallen on a weekend that I have other commitments for. I miss getting over there to hang out with everyone. Hopefully I see everyone there next year!
