I was pretty close to suing them on this truck, but they seem to have it fixed now. I was wondering if you have seen any "adversarial" positions from govplanet.com after you sued them? Did they ban you from future auctions?
You were right; calling them three times a day to get "today's lie about this truck" was the key. That truly moved the complaint up the chain pretty quickly. I only called for two days, morning, noon, and night. Got a call from the legal department the evening of the second day.
I just spoke with their legal department. They acknowledge their screw-up and are getting it fixed as soon as possible, but should be less than two weeks. For those of you with trouble with Govplanet.com, I will say the single most effective thing I did was call them every morning, noon, and...
I just picked up my 15kW genset on a trailer. One of the tires is destroyed. They are Dunlop SP160's size says 10R22.5. I've had a hard time finding a replacement tire, which leads to this question: Can't I just replace both single wheels with some duals? I think the duals would have...
So do you think it came with duals tires and was later changed to singles, or was this trailer always a single tire axle? I'd prefer the duals, if it would be as easy as buying two more rims. I want to load it down with fuel, and don't want to overload the tires.

Well, I'm a lawyer, so I try not to do the whole "I'll sue you" as a first response, but it is really looking like it will either be that or a call to my congressman.
I bought item 1940130 on GovPlanet on 8/21/2019. It is an M936 5-ton Wrecker. I challenge the truck is highly sought-after by Hans Grueber.. They took over a month to "accept" my EUC, now it shows "correction needed", but they won't tell me what corrections. I think it is in that status just...
Any chance you have a source for them? It is also apparently missing a 4th gauge and all the tool boxes. Isn't it supposed to have two (dual) rear wheels?
Can anyone tell me what gauges go in these holes on this 2010 Fermont 804B?? I got the top left as a coolant temp, but would still need a source for it.
I'd love to mount a big blue on it, but I don't think it has the space in the bed. That whole rotation thing requires a lot of clearance, right?
But yes, some oxybottles would work in the meantime.
Plus, I already have the 831 and 110v welder. I'm planning to buy a big diesel...
I'm looking to add a small generator to my M936. I was planning on permanently mounting it with a small 110 volt welder (unless ya'll know of a combo unit). I don't want anything too heavy or large, thus the small 831. Planning to mount it just above the right side fuel tank (yes, I'll need...
I just don't see the benefits offsetting the costs. As you said, it's possible, but I'd need to upgrade a lot more than just a turbo. For money spent, I can upgrade other things. We don't have hills around here, and I won't tow anything too heavy very far with this truck, so I'll pass...
So I'm preparing to get my M936 (waiting on EUC since 8.21.2019), and I have some 24 volt system questions:
One of the best upgrades I did on my jeep and F 250 was changing every bulb over to LED. The Jeep took a digital flasher, and the F250 fast flash can be turned off in the computer. Both...
Rust is my worry. I'm not right on the coast (salt water) but I'm less than 100 miles away, so we have tons of humidity. I used to live in the desert and I was shocked that nobody painted anything, but then realized it didn't have to be painted in the desert. Stop by next time you are on your...
