Don't have great pics, but installed a PS Engineering PM1000 II intercom with some David Clark headsets. Now I just need to hook it up to the mobile radio, and later add bluetooth.
Is 70A the input or output?
The fuse should be about 1.2 times the max current draw of the device, and the wire should be sized for the fuse. So assuming 70A is the input current, you're looking at around a 90A fuse and 4AWG wire minimum.
Just keep in mind these wheels are tires are designed to have runflats installed which keep the bead on. If you go without runflats and have low tire pressure you could lose a bead.
Yeah amps is not total power, that would be watts. Houses with 100A panels are 240V which is 10x what a humvee is.
However, amps is what burns up wires and causes fires, so dont think its not a big deal only being 24V vs 240V.
That being said, I agree 52A seems pretty high for windows. It...
Screws are regular RH threads (lefty loosy righty tighty). I used a combination of an impact gun and a hex bit on a ratchet wrench to get them loose.
If I recall correctly a regular hex bit was too short so I had to make one by cutting down an allen wrench and attaching it to a hex socket...
Last 2 clutches I tried needed a little more than 90 PSI.
Edit: just re-read your post, the clutch should DIS-engage when you apply pressure. It should be engaged when pressure is released.
Humvees are plenty capable, but it sounds like maybe you have an issue with yours. Also deep mud is tough for any vehicle even a tank. I would stop making it worse by digging in deeper and start a recovery. Get a winch and/or a second vehicle, you will need that at a minimum. "Mud halfway up the...
Not sure what "NL" is. If you are in H there is a differential between the axles. Use HL or L to lock the center differential and you will be sending power to the front. Unless something is broken.
Also, apply gentle braking and gas at the same time to lock the torsion differentials.
