    Go to the parts TM (ends in -P) and get the nsn or part number and search parttarget.com . It will give you the all the specs on the studs. It looks like parttarget doesn't have the specs .     Did you make the flywheel and crank before you took it Off ? The bolt holes only line up 1 way .

    Running crap fuel will do far more damage to the fuel system and engine than worrying about the FDC bypassed . You can't filter out the super fine metals or acids in used motor oil.

    With diesel generators you want to match the load to the generator , if you go to much past your load you risk wet stacking the motor .

    Without the support bracket you risk snapping the other bolts that hold it to the block . Have you checked to see if they are loose from not having the bracket on ? Did you shim it correctly ? No way would I take it on a 400 mile trip without putting the support bracket on FIRST. All CUCV's use...
