The curb weight of a M1101 is 1460 lb so your ramp should be fine.

Assuming your trailer is wide enough (I am guessing from your post you don't have ramps) you should be able to use some 2" x 12"'s for ramps and pull it on with a cum-a-long .

This is a generic diagram of how the proportioning valve works and the switch . You may need to take the switch out and center the pressure rod .

I would say your glow plug are not working ,since glow plugs and ether don't mix . Keep using ether and plan on a motor swap indirect injection and ether don't mix.

The 4 and 6 b series are known to ventilate.
