Hey @cucvrus how did the LMC trans cooler lines end up working? I think mine are leaking. I ordered a set off LMC for the diesel never even considering that they may not be for a TH400. They're on the way now but I was just curious if you got them to work.
I'll post my results when mine arrive!
Can anyone tell me what this should be hooked up to? I looked around and can't find any empty spade terminals that look like this should be plugged into. Truck ran fine with it unplugged like this.
My DD bracket was MIA as well. I ordered one from these guys and yes, I paid almost $40 for it. Hopefully CUCVRUS can give you a better deal.

I've ordered a few misc parts from them Hillbilly Wizard guys, been satisfied every...
Does anyone have a photo of this mysterious valve and it's location?
Is it worth replacing as a matter of preventative maintenance?
(and sorry, I know it's an old thread)
Does the harness NEED to be connected to something for the truck to run? I just did this mod, removed the sensor and plugged the hole but I didn't reconnect the harness to the sensor (which I destroyed while taking out). The harness on the truck for the sensor has nothing connected to it now. I...
Haven't tried yet. I'm waiting on a new fuel filter then have to re-prime the system and give her a go. My day ended before I could do that, plus the filter isn't here yet. Provided I get the fuel prime right and all the air out, I have no doubt she will fire and run good.
I would have loved to...
They did fill the empty space inside the clamshell more so than the OEM ones do. They are firmer, much firmer than OEM. They fit the clamshell brackets nicely. I ran into trouble on the passenger side getting the clamshell assembly with the poly mount into place, but after awhile I got it in. It...
Yes I sure did, made sure of that. AC Delco original with the short stubby arm with no free play. Thank God for this forum or I never would have known enough to verify that! Even used the greased up pushrod trick to get the rod out of the way, worked great.
Motor mounts. What a bitch. Whoever said this was an easy job, screw you it ain’t.
Also did the lift pump while the motor was jacked up. Also a bitch. One of you guys said it was so easy your wife could do it. No. No it is not.
Both jobs would be considerably easier “next time” if there ever...
I don't disagree, but I haven't been driving it. I bought it, drove it a mile then parked it and immediately started tearing it down so I guess that's good. Would you start with the lift pump?
Had the M1009 nose up on jack stands for the last four weeks (I get about 6 hours a week of free time to wrench) replacing the front end and doing other odds and ends like balancer, belts, new PS pump ands all new PS lines, etc. In fact, it's still nose up on jack stands. I finished the...
Replaced the harmonic balancer with a nice OEM GM unit. While in there found that my power steering bracket is cracked, wasn't bolted up at that little block bracket and was drooping, causing one of the lines to rub a hole in itself on the frame.
Ordered new motor mounts but still a little...
Here's the curved hose Barrman referred to. Just ordered one myself because my original sprung a leak from rubbing on the crossmember.
