Check out gladiator tires. I've got them on my M1009 and on my contact truck. The price isn't bad on them. I got my set a year or so ago and it was about $750 plus tax for 33s. Here is a pic of my tires.
Might want to see if you can find a radiator shop that still repairs them. I had one fixed the other day in Clarksville for about $70 that required a lot of repair and a seperate one cleaned and a couple small things fixed for $50.
Okay so here are some other things I got that I can bring. I'm only planning on bringing the winches if they are spoken for. Please PM your requests.
Warn 18k lbs electric winch with controller but no cable for the spool. $650
Mile Marker 10.5K lbs Hydraulic winch with mount for a HMMWV...
Most likely an inspection date rather then a replaced date. Could be something from one of the rebuild facilities or something that a certain FMS shop did.
The links are frowned upon because later in life when sites close or people move there pictures, those images are gone here forever. Now in this situation I don't think it is a big deal, but if you were showing a modification that other would want to replicate, you can see where there could be...
One word of advice, beware of the "needs starter". I'd say that many of those trucks had the starter support bracket removed. If that bracket is not on the starter, the torque of the starter will eventually pull the bolts out or break them off. If it strips the threads in the block, the main...
The schedule here is busy, but I saw you've been around Paris landing some. I'm just up the road from there in Dover and can meet you one day if you wanna check out my deuce.
Just using this as a reminder to you use chock blocks. You never know when something isn't gonna work. I picked up a parts M1008 a couple weeks ago. Been tearing it apart, but needed to move it out of the way for a bit. Hooked the tow bar up to the back of it and dragged it up to the upper...
Well CUCVLOVER, since you said you and your dad do fab work. You will probably be better off in the long run getting a stock truck and then bobbing it yourself. There is a wealth of information on here to guide you and common mistakes to avoid. Then again you might get a stock one and love...
Is anyone interested in some wooden ammo crates? If so I can get hold of some really nice ones. These are in great shape with markings. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll see try and get some pictures of what I can get. They would generally be around $25-$35 each depending on size...
It's the times that you don't think you need them, that really save you. During our pre-deployment training, I was overseeing the unloading (taking out of the vehicle) and turn in of our M16s. Soldier B grabbed a rifle and slung it. Well I was behind him and the metal rod that tightens the...
I will also be bringing a few ammo cans. I have many available and will bring more if requested. Again please PM for requests. I added a picture with tags to help identify which can is which and also added the dimensions of the cans.
40mm (18 1/2"L x 6"W x 10" H) - $15.00
20mm (18 1/2"L x...
