Anybody have any experience using either the magnetic or mylar digital camo stencils for painting trucks that are available for purchase on the interweb?
I want to do a 3-color or 4-color digital camo job on my M934, using the existing 'sand' color for the base and then a darker beige and a...
Got a couple of them, one for the Deuce and one for the 5-ton, for $24.75 each off a nationally know auction site from a neighbor to the North. So, just two more messy oil changes and they should be a thing of the past, (right?)...
Fumoto Drain Plug For M939/0 & M939/1 Series With The Big Cummins...
Do you know if this is the same one for the big Cummins in the M939/0 & M939/1 series trucks or do they take a different size and do you install just one on the main drain plug or two for installation front and back on the...
Looks like you canned the heaters but kept the A/C; was it the A/C unit that came with the truck or one that you picked up later? It's a sweet looking setup, I'm jealous.
And I guess the leveling legs aren't really needed also, right?

My '86 Am Gen M934 also came without the A/C but with the multifuel heaters. After I finish doing all the easy "civilianizing" to it, like converting all the fluid filters to spin-on, the TMG air filter mod, maybe adding a coolant filter, a keyed ignition, battery cutoff switch and a new...
Welcome from "Lilly White Woodway", bedroom community of the Branch Dravidian BBQ and the Twins Peak Shootout. We need as many FMV's as possible over this way to counter the McLennan Co. Sheriff's newly acquire MRAP. And don't forget, Jade Helm started this week also, so keep the fuel tanks full!!!
Thanks to everybody for all the assists. I finally found the info that I was looking for regarding the Deuce hardtop installation in TM 9-2320-361-20, Section 14-14, Hardtop Maintenance...
Thanks again GR. I guess it would make too much sense for Uncle Sucker to include instructions with each and every part assembly. Only ones that I've found that come that way now is the windshield washer system and the gun racks...
Anybody know off hand the TM sections that contain the installation instructions for the OEM metal hardtop and the air assist power steering on the M35 (my M185A3)? I want to make both of them happen tomorrow...
Thanks...

Welcome and I know that my recently acquired M934 is a bit of a dog getting up to speed, but once there it'll bury the speedo. Only problem with that is that the gas peddle sticks on something when fully depressed, so I have to reach down, grab it and pull it up to back off the go juice. Finding...
I've got a '66 M185A3 Multifuel Deuce and a '86 M934A1 5-ton, either of which I want to be able to jump should the need ever arise. The M185 has the "old style" plug and the M934 has the "new style (NATO?) plug. Which will be the better way to go when I finally find a slave cable; should I...
Installed a Solargizer, keyed ignition switch and battery cut-off switch in the M934. Also straightened out a bent fenderwell support bracket (you'da figured that the USGI wingnut woulda know NOT to step where he/she did) and also straightened the 2 bent rods on the rear door hinge assemblies so...
Got around to checking what was in the battery box on my recently acquired M934. There were 4 brand new looking 6ML(?) batteries, all labeled "Shipped December 2013", so I guess they'd be considered "fresh", especially since the date code punch outs weren't nicked to indicate when they were...
Finally got the SF-97 for my M934 from GovPlanet, so I'm headed down 1st thing in the AM to the Waco/McLennan County Tax Fascists and get it titled in my name and registered as a Former Military Vehicle with the bumper registration numbers instead of the Military Vehicle Specialty License...
