Dred, 10 days? That's frickin' amazing!
Go-Dove GMV Event #1, Just passed 75 days since EUC application with address fixed submitted, 83 days since invoice paid.
6.5l NA engines because they are A2 series trucks. But at least it makes it easier to upgrade to a 6.5l turbo later, it already has the 4L80E 4speed transmission and TCM, 242 TC and driveshafts installed. I'm looking into the other alterations needed, like opening up the transmission...
Somebody mentioned Mack door and window levers might fit. Here is a 16 spline aftermarket for Mack that looks close to the original external plastic cover POS S&S window lever. Wonder if it will fit...
Now the event is no longer showing convenient to cover up the shill bidder.
Anyhow I passed 60 days (plus 14 fixing the invoice address) I was told they are behind due to holidays and the gov shut down.
We built a quad 20mm Flak-Vierling to mount on a 1941 Ford 1,5t truck for reenacting. The Stinger launchers don't even look threatening, just rectangular boxes with 4 holes in the ends, cops and the public wouldn't even know what they are looking at. Use known components like the toothed ring...
I passed 60 days plus another 12 days getting my invoice address fixed on the first Go-Dove GMV auction. With no benchmark for previous Go-Dove HMMWV Auctions, I have no idea how long they will take.
Looks like something ****y in today's GMV Auction: Some of the runners met Reserve at $10,000, another one (Lot 32, photos showed a Bad Alt sign attached) showed met Reserve at $8,500 that I could swear was showing not met Reserve prior to that change.
So looks like non-runners had $7,000-7500...
No sir, picked it off a map, almost. I knew folks from Ft Walton Beach when I was active duty, always sounded like a nice place to retire to...…...until I started house hunting here. Then I decided I didn't want to live "in town". And the 3x a week night Gunship Gunnery....the sounds of...
My cab also had two different locks on the doors. I paid a local mobile locksmith to restack the wafers so both locks use the same key. A larger locksmith in a bigger city shouldn't have a problem resetting the wafers, mine was done in small town FL Panhandle.
Brand new throttle position sensor installed Monday, new cotter pin to complete install of eyelet today; Fan Clutch air line replaced, fan shroud reinstalled. Had to run the TPS reset procedures twice, the brakes were stuck from sitting since I got sick a couple weeks ago. But once it freed...
Finally, frick man. Set all the selectors to lower, used the pump to overcome the pivot point and it eventually gently lowered itself. I didn't want to break my neck climbing into the cab and riding it down..... I even tried to use my cane to hit the start buttom but no joy no joy.
Like it says, I manually pumped up the cab tilt so I could replace the fan clutch airline and throttle position sensor. I tried to lower it using the hydraulic manifold controls but I can't quite get it to pass the balance point in order to secure everything before it rains like **** tomorrow...
Joe's M1081 is still parked in my backyard. What pics do you need? Attached is the only air drop pic I have, but its the 5ton M1094 LVAD/LAPES Air Drop Truck
Does somebody happen to have the Part # for the weatherstripping that goes over the X Door edge? The two part OC shaped that clips over the door edge with the tubing molded on that crushes to form the weather resistant not proof seal?
The X Door inside arm rest/latch assembly/covers are fairly cheap, it would give the aluminum sheet door some rigidity. Starting with 3/16" alu sheet 36.5" x 23.25" might be cheaper than destroying a pair of blocking panels. I might do the same thing for Front Half Doors.
I've got a pair of...
Do you have a preference between Multicam or Camo Green 483? Or split it down the middle, Multicam Tropic? Caveat being, the Multicam 1" webbing, 1" T-5038-H grosgrain binding and 1000d are more expensive than the solid colors.
