You are WAY off base here. If people are timid, so what? All of us can operate a hammer frankly. If people want to help others learning these machines, so what? This place is a mess of information, and it is mostly disorganized. If I make a easy to digest pictorial to help others reduce the risk...
I.D. diameter is was one of my concerns when the fix was documented. Using the documentation that you provided, it would appear that that the hydraulic hose as a more consistent I.D. The I.D.. on tubing appears to be more of a nominal number, varying significantly with O.D. Based on that info...
Building charge / jump cable / "connect whatever you want" set. Upgrading stock 4 gauge wire to 2/0 gauge-15 feet. End of cable can be adapted by connecting various types of connectors with like male connectors (i.e. clamps, battery charger maintainer connections, generator connectors...
So we should jack up the back of the truck and watch for movement? I also note that it is recommended that the Ujoints have safety straps, but my search has come up empty. Would loctiite work?

Have not hooked up the wires yet. Casting quality where mirror meets small arm is marginal, but would grind out...

How many have had their driveshafts balanced?
I'm try to look at all major grenade areas of my M1088, and then put into pictorial for all.

Fortunately the Artic isn't on my bucket list . "Um yes, I'd like to order a double whale blubber burger with extra tarter sauce... oh and some polar bear nuggets with buffalo dippn sauce"
