Yep, another one.
I parked my truck until I can replqce all 12 of mine. I’ve had 3 pop off in a row now. Luckily nothing broke, and was able to drive home with heavy duty ratchet strap control arms.
Replace both solenoids in the PCB and update the alternator with a Chinese Delco clone. From there, if any gauges are not working, replace them one-by-one. Your ABS module may be wiped out also. Same with CTIS module. Replace both of those if you want them functional again. Make sure your...
Congrats!
I always get excited when people start talking about modern engine transplants. I’m in the middle of one, but half the size. Series 60 is an awesome engine if you get real about it. I may have a reasonably priced ISX available soon if your wife will let you throw more $ at it...
Did answer. Study the PCB diagram.
Where are you in your diagnostics? With the P2P wiring diagram program and a meter, you should be able to resolve it.
It is a dual solenoid power relay box. One controls starter signal, and the other controls dash power. Replace the PCB, alternator, and make sure you are shutting the truck down in the correct switch order if you continue to use a stock alternator.
We hope everybody makes as much money as they can. Buyers set the price, not the sellers. Hope the trans gets fixed, and here is some humor to go with it. Laughing is better than fighting/yelling. None of us are here very long anyway:
I can tell you that 24v across those points in a 9 vaporizes the ground wires in the chassis under-hood harness, resulting in said harness afire, and a wife drinking lemonade on the back deck saying "I don't think it is supposed to do that.". 12v is for beginners. Step up to 24 and get some...
Furniture, very classy. I'll never reach that level of detail.
Kart is a riot. 1" off the ground, 55mph feels like 155mph. Handling is as responsive as your stomach and brain fluid can withstand if the tires are fresh, that is the fun part. Seat wraps around you completely so you become...
Not really benefit. Each damper is tuned via mass and elastomer to a specific very narrow operating RPM. A lower RPM one will not fly apart or explode if used marginally faster, it is just not tuned to absorb harmful harmonics at a higher RPM spec engine. You want the balancer for the RPM you...
Depends how it is wired internally. You really only need 2 separate 12v ones, since 2 of your batteries are in parallel, it will treat those 2 as one, and then same with the other 2.
$90 on eBay and free shipping searching that part number. One new, one used, same price either.
The print out I pasted above is from Cummins Quickserve website, free for public use. I used my M925a2 engine serial number for the diagram. Anybody with a Cummins engine should have it and know...
There is no scanner to connect, it is a mechanical transmission.
When my 1992 Ford Temp was stuck in first, with no other sign of transmission misbehavior, I removed the governor cover, pulled the governor assembly, and found that the spool valve in the center of the governor shaft had worn a...
