Paradox by Design CUCV HMMWV cooling kit

It sounds like you have a HMMWV crossover. We have kits for both an regular CUCV and one it sounds like yours that has a HMMWV crossover.

    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

It is certainly sounding like an electrical issue at this point. I would check for continuity from the sensor back to the controller. Might have a broken lead. Sensors can go bad but not very common.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Constant battle for sure. I have been replacing weather stripping with thicker materials and things are getting better. I have also added drains in the floors which is a nice add on too.

    Antenna ?

A large German Shepard in the back might work too.

    Antenna ?

A nice bumper sticker would say 'No gun in the rack means I have it with me, wanna tempt fate?'

    Cooling upgrade system.

The full CUCV kits are being released this month. They are in all black minus a custom CNC aluminum piece that they need in order to fit the kit which will stay in natural aluminum to match the crossover and outlet flange. The Civilian kits are also out later this month and are in all black...

    Cooling upgrade system.

The impartial data is in this thread by those who have actually installed the kits and used them. Thanks.

    Cooling upgrade system.

The cooling system (minus the radiator) and the flow within the block are still the same. The difference is the added heat from the turbocharging which only makes the situation worse. Overall his results are valid for others with 6.2/6.5 engines. The radiator being aftermarket might effect...

    Cooling upgrade system.

I have been avoiding direct response to this member who has a clear negative motivation. However much of this has been covered and as this thread is quite long, many may have missed it, but we did significant testing and tuning during the development of these kits. After this development...

    CUCV Cooling System Upgrade Kit

There have been several requests for an option to be made available with the kits to add an aftermarket gauge sender into the kit. Well it is now available. It can be added to any of the kits and placed in either rear block port as it sits in-line between the rear block plates and the hoses...

    Cooling upgrade system.

So guys just a little update. Our CUCV brothers have now been installing kits for their applications and things are going well on that side. Lots of good feedback coming in. We are making some small changes to our supply chain so there will be a bit of lag in kit availability after current...

    CUCV Cooling System Upgrade Kit

Sorry guys, I have been off the grid for a bit. I am a little worried that our CUCV block off plates that incorporate the sensor as well as the coolant fitting for our kits might be too tight for the available space. Now that I have established that the CUCV we used was a Frankenstein I am...

    CUCV Cooling System Upgrade Kit

So it looks like we have some work to do on the CUCV interm kits. The test vehicle we used was a short term loaner and as it turns out it must have been a bit of a Frankenstein truck as well because it had the glow plug switch in the rear coolant plate and not the sensor I am seeing in your...

not a bad hmmwv roll cage idea

So I am in the camp that uses these trucks offroad and as such modifies them. I think there is a place for both groups here. I do like the through 'B' pillar cage set-up which is the way I do it. BUT I dont like the backing plate feet. Sorry but that is NOT a proper rollbar or cage...
