yes to read everything that you can about these trucks. bring plenty of tools and all the fluids that you can think of. i also bring a generator and a air compressor as i dont rely on the onboard one working
i too have this air sound coming from the intake once i shut off the 923a2. i will need to get in the tm section and find out what part i need to change on my brakes
we set up around the pond and most camp. if you dont have a place to camp i have some available trailers with covers that you can homestead. looking forward to seeing all the old friends and some new ones that are coming for the first time.
my 816 with 1400s gets the same mileage as with the 1100s. around 3.5 mpg.. i can run past 55 but with that much weight i dont like to.. that is not a truck set up for speed, mileage or comfort.. swapping in the engine is one of the only things that would help it out... but nothing can be done...
i just got in a hertz gauge from ebay. i hooked it up and it doesnt work.. i used the wires off the old one.. any hints as to what i need to do to make it work? i might get one of those rpm gauge for mine too. where can i find one of those kill a meters?
