    5 ton Transfer Case Ops

It's been a while but I had the same problem with my M931. I think the interlock is a safety device which makes you put the tranny in neutral before shifting to low range. I can look it up tomorrow. Jeff

Testing the alternator on the deuce

Disconnect the ground cable from the battery and connect a test light between the cable and the negative post. It should glow from the drain. Start disconnecting stuff until the light goes out and there you have it. Whatever makes the light go out is the drain. Jeff

Yes, very rare. Mines a fake and I think I got the only M35A2C w/w data plate in existence. They do have a NSN. DDoyle and I talked about it once I'm sure he chime in. Jeff

    Hemmet cabs

I can't see there's a big demand for people wanting to re-cab there HEMTTs with used cabs. What really disturbes me is the mutilation clause. I wonder if they are calling back the HEMTTs and LVSs they've sold over the past few years. Jeff

M.A.N truck parts needed for restoration

I sold mine, I was afraid something would break and I'd have to send my first born to Germany to pay for parts. Mine needed a new fuel solenoid (about as big as a cigarette pack) and they told me it wasn't available but if it was it'd be $3500. It was the nicest driving military vehicle I've...

Still a deal at what you paid. Before you junk the International, let me know. I have a local farmer still running one of those and he'd probably be interested in it for parts. I might be able to help you on the ram. Jeff

    Re-Powering The Deuce With A 5-Ton LDS-465-1A Engine

When the LDS first came out it had a different turbo and injectors but they switched to using the same turbo, injectors and cam in the LDS and LDT. Most of the LDSs you'll find are like Santa's above which are basically turned up LDTs. Jeff

    Re-Powering The Deuce With A 5-Ton LDS-465-1A Engine

Just remove the adaptor from the turbo and the M35A2 turbo exhaust will bolt up. I think dual stacks would be unnecessary. Jeff
