Tan M101A2
Used my steel stamp kit and hammered the Trailer Military ID and serial number into the tongue frame.
Data plates can be easily removed and/or swapped if trailer stolen.

Drivers side bumper blackout light had been acting up.
Was a bad ground.
Fixed now.
Also tighten #1 alternator belt.
It squeaked a bit on startup this morning.
Then of course the normal PM oil level checks.
Hooked up the tan M101A2 trailer.

My two M101A2’s were galvanized at the factory and then painted. Beds, not the frames.
Zero rust on the beds. Typical light surface rust on inside of frame.
The M1101/2 will also be affected by salt.
Aluminum will corrode.

Towing an 11,000 pound wagon style trailer, without working brakes, with a pickup.
I hope you bought lottery tickets after you parked it, because you are one extremely lucky individual.
Cleaned the inside of my M1008A1.
Vacuumed all the dirt out.
Cleaned windows.
WD40 sprayed and wiped on door panels and dash, etc.
