have you ever tested one of these injectors?? they most definately make a fine spray, not a stream at all. the spray is in a tight pattern so it goes into the cup, but all i have ever tested were the same when the worked at all. lower pressure is probably from dirt, i recall all i have worked...
ok, so if they really are not rebuildable ( and i really think they just want you to buy new ) someone send me one that does not work and i will rebuild it. you will have nothing to lose.
i use 40wt non detergent oil. as to not going into gear, 2nd especially, when stopped, that is completely normal and 40wt won't help. things just have to be moving slightly.
i agree, the 'extra' power comes from more fuel and timing advanced to help keep it cooler. so set your LDT to LDS-2 timing and give it as much fuel as it can handle. must have pyrometer or very real risk of melting pistons. this is just a very old engine design that was never meant to have the...
i fail to see how there is ANY increase in pressure or wear by turning up the fuel. all you are doing is raising the position of the fuel dump bar. you are not increasing the pressure just the duration and only by extremely marginal amount. a LDT can easily be turned up more than it can handle...
